Chicken Dance!

I've got my 9,000 mp3s on shuffle, so you never know what song you're going to hear next. The Chicken Dance just came on and now I'm sitting in my chair dancing along.

Going, Going, Gone

I decided to take advantage of eBay's free listing day and put up a ton of Beanie Babies for sale that I had multiples of. You can view them here, so if you're a collector, feel free to see if they are any you need.

They're all retired Internet exclusives, so you may be able to find one or two that you missed.

Lady Luck

For some reason, there is a ladybug in my room. I figured - it being December and all - that they'd all be dead by now, but nope, there's one running around the top of my lamp. Since ladybugs are supposed to be lucky, I'll take it as a sign that my luck is going to change for the new year.

Paint it Red

I'm out of here shortly for a night on the town. I just weighed myself and I am down to 142 pounds (no wonder my pants are basically falling off of me!). That's like a thirty pound loss that I've had since November. Damn, I look good!

Diet Lemonade

So, to start off my no Coke challenge, I stopped at Chick-fil-A this morning and got a diet lemonade to drink. Man, this stuff is good!

It's got more calories than a diet Coke, but it's still a lot less than I normally have. Instead of having the 256 calories from a large Coke, I'm only having 50 calories from the same size diet lemonade.

Got to start somewhere, right? I wonder if they sell this stuff by the gallon like they do their regular lemonade.

I bought my tiara today, so I am now ready for Em's Tiara Happy Hour. I also bought some new pants at lunch time to show off my new sexy, much flatter stomach. I do believe that there are several alcoholic drinks in my future, coumadin levels be damned.

Happy Halloween!

Steven and I are having friends over tonight and while we're not dressing up or anything, I am doing some Halloween-themed BookCrossing releases. I'm letting loose ten horror novels (King, Koontz, Straub, Rice, and Harris) in my area, so if you're in northwest Houston, keep your eyes open for some free books. They'll be at Best Buy (near Willowbrook in the DVD section), at Willowbrook in a few places, the local Randall's, and more. Hope someone finds them and enjoys them.

Happy Halloween, everyone! Don't eat too much candy!

Back to the Land of the Living

Slowly but surely, I've managed to become a bit more human this week. I've made it out of the house (with make-up and decent clothes on - a first in weeks!) to run a few errands, get bloodwork done, and I even made it into work for an hour or two today to see where all the projects stand. I'm going to work from home the next couple of days and start back partial days next week. Everyone at work was so understanding of my situation and I could tell that they were genuinely glad to see me doing well. Makes a girl feel good, you know?

Really, except for feeling really tired when I'm out even just for a few hours and getting short of breath if I have to walk too far, I feel pretty good. Like I told Steven today, today was a good day because I didn't die from a blood clot or suffer permanent damage. When I really think of what might have happened, it gives me pause and makes me realize how lucky I was.

I still haven't posted about my hospital stay, but I'm not sure there's much to say about it. I hated being there, disliked my doctor (guy was a major jackass with no bedside manner at all), and my poor arms look like I have a serious drug habit from all the IVs and blood that was taken while I was in there. The bruises are now a lovely yellow color and I wonder if people think junkie when they glance at my arms.

Also, while I was at work, I picked up a few packages that had arrived for me. Kim and Scott sent me Michelle Branch's The Spirit Room and Erin sent me Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married by Marian Keyes. Nothing like getting gifts to help your recovery, right?

Speaking of gifts, as soon as Christine gets me a list of all the people that participated in the Pamper Kymberlie in the Hospital Project (that's how I refer to it), I'll be sending thank yous your way as well. I cannot stress enough how wonderful it felt knowing so many people were pulling for me, thinking about me, and wishing me well. You never know how many people love you until something like this happens.

Speaking of people that love you, I just want to thank my mom for staying with me every day and every night while I was in the hospital. She only left for a few hours at a time to shower and get us food when the meals inside were way too nasty to eat. She slept every night in my room and was always there if I work up scared or if the 3:30 blood letting became too much to bear. I wish everyone had a mother like her in there life. I love you, Mom. Thank you so much for being there, even if I did get snippy and bitchy by the end of my stay.

Anyway, hopefully once I get a bit more rested and caught up on all the shit that's piled up while I was gone, blogging will be a bit more frequent here. At least now you know I haven't relapsed.

Burning Supplies

Today was the day to pick up cheap supplies for burning CDs. Office Depot is running a sale on Imation CDs - 50 80 minute, 48x speed CDs (regularly $25.00 or so) for $11.87, buy one get one free. That's 100 CDs for about $13 after tax. Office Max has 50 slimline CD cases (regularly $9.99 a piece) on sale for $4.00 which then comes with a $4.00 mail-in rebate making them free.

If you're running low on CD supplies, now would be the time to stock up!

Today I helped Steven make a copy of a CD for his car. We designed the CD cover and the booklet art, printed it, and put a CD together. I've been thinking that since I'm seeing a pretty big interest in the Burn It CD Swap, I might go through and list what programs I use to put together my CDs. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow.

Updating

I spent most of today updating my BookCrossing bookshelf to reflect the multitude of bookrings/rays I've joined. I must be insane to be on so many lists!

I also updated my To Be Read list over at BiblioBlog. I've come to the conclusion that if I quit my job and did nothing but read twenty hours a day, I still could never read all the books that I wanted to.

It was good going through my list, though. I found some books that I had forgotten about and plan on moving up my list of what to read next. I've still got to update my DVD list, but at least my books are a bit more orderly back here (read stacked in boxes), so that ought to make Steven happy. Ah, to have a library with floor to ceiling bookshelves. That would be heaven!

Friday

It's Friday, we have friends over, and the drinking has begun.

Last night Steven's Mercedes was vandalized when he left it at the movie theater for a while. Apparently, Mercedes mirrors have some kind of blinking system that makes the mirror go for $1,300 or so. Sucks, huh? Anyway, he was thinking today, after helping a disabled man in a wheelchair with his groceries, that nothing in his life is that bad. Kind of makes you think, huh?

Miscellaneous

Just some random stuff that's on my mind:

- I finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on Friday and I quite enjoyed it. I agree with several people that the writing is simply not as magical (pardon the pun) as the first couple, but all in all, it was a great book. Lots of good coming of age stuff in there and I just had to see what was going to happen next. Hope we don't have to wait three years for the next one.

- An eBay auction pair of shoes that I have been drooling over for a week ends in forty minutes. If they go up much more, I won't be able to bid on them. Who are the ends that bid on auctions before the last few minutes, driving up the price? Don't they know these are my shoes?

- I watched 44 Minutes on FX this weekend. It's the story of those two guys who held up a bank in North Hollywood in 1997 wearing kevlar body armor armed with AK-47s. They left the bank firing over 2,000 rounds injuring over thirty people, most of them police officers. The movie was great, though I felt such rage that people can legally own weapons like sniper and assult rifles. It's just so fucked up. I really do recommend seeing this movie, though. Really good.

- We rented Die Another Day this weekend and it was pretty entertaining (though a lot of it was highly unrealistic). At least it didn't have Denise Richards in it. I really can't stand her.

- I've had thirty people sign up for Burn It - The Summer Edition already. Since we only had about forty people last time, I think this one's going to be even bigger. Come and sign up!

- The cat is so cute running around with her little fur mouse in her mouth like it's actual prey.

- Man, how can it be Monday almost already? I am so glad Friday is a holiday.

Missing Steven and Other Rambles

I dropped Steven off at the airport this morning so he could go to Boston for a business trip. I was originally going to go, but since he has class all day and then dinners and receptions at night that significant others can't attend, I figured I'd just stay home.

He called this afternoon from his swanky hotel, Nine Zero, and I realized how much I miss him already. Sappy, huh? This is the first trip, though, that he's taken in almost five years without me, so it's a bit strange to be home alone.

Since he isn't here, I'd thought I'd add another family member to make the household the same number and bought another beta at lunch time (I now have four of them). He's really pretty with lots of pinkish-red coloring shot through with shimmery blue. I'll have to try and do a good picture of him later.

The good news, though, is my best friend Jeanna is coming over tomorrow night to spend the whole weekend with me. We already know that we're going to a midnight sale of Harry Potter tomorrow night and then getting pedicures and checking out this jewelry store that's going out of business on Saturday, but that's all we've got planned so far. I think we'll hit Chinese Cafe for dinner Saturday night which will be delicious as always and since Jeanna's never been there before, it'll really be a treat.

I expect lots of raspberry pina coladas will be drunk, lots of movies will be seen, and an incredible time will be held for all.

I guess if you've don't get to go on a trip, the least you can do is have your best friend stay with you!

A Little Shopping and a Little Dinner

I met Jeanna tonight at Deerbrook Mall after she got off work and we kicked around for a while, did a little shopping, and ate dinner at Jason's Deli (peanut butter and jelly sandwich for me - yum!).

Steven's going out of town next week for a conference in Boston and Jeanna's going to spend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with me and Bella. We're going to get drunk, watch movies, and have great dinners. I can't wait for next weekend!

*Yawn*

I was so tired today that, for the first time in a week or so, I took a nap. I made it until about 9:00 and then I crashed.

I've been having very intense dreams (not just nightmares, though there have been some of those too) and I'm almost as tired in the morning as when I went to sleep. I think I'll take an Ambien and see if I can actually sleep through the whole night with no dreams.

Monday Monday

Ah, where do the weekends go?

I had dreams all night last night where it was finals day and I hadn't been to class all semester so I wasn't going to graduate from college. When I woke up this morning I was even more tired than when I went to sleep.

Despite that, I had a pretty good day. I had a wonderful chat with Sheila, who despite everything going on in her life, took the time to remind me how special I am. She completely rocks.

I also got a phone call from the boyfriend inviting me to lunch out of the blue - another nice pick-me up. Then it was off to Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual sale where I scored a ton of stuff for like $100.

I had bought The Animatrix DVD Gift Set to give Steven from Bella for Father's Day since he takes such good care of her, but I couldn't wait and gave it to him tonight.

I am now off to eat leftover homemade lasagna (Yum!) and watch some of The Animatrix with my baby. Night, all!

Benefits and Lasagna

Steven and I spent most of the day at a charity benefit for one of his co-worker's husband. They found out last year that both she and him had Hepetitis C and just as they were getting done with the treatment for it, it was discovered that he had pancreatic cancer. The benefit was a lot of fun with ponies and horses for the kids to ride (see them over at the Neurotic Fishbowl Moblog) and they had a band, Victim, that played some real kick-ass music.

After that we headed off to Wal-Mart since Steven decided he wanted to make Emril's lasagna for dinner tonight. It's currently cooking away over in the kitchen and the whole house smells delicious. I love having a man that can cook!

Just Thoughts

I think I've picked up the cold that Steven had last week. My head is starting to feel like it's going to explode and I'm sneezing like crazy.

I went to the doctor today to talk to him about Lexapro and how I feel on it. I told him I definitely feel much better (I no longer feel that there is a black hole just beyond my line of sight that is sucking me towards it. I actually feel good and hopeful, a nice change), but I am still pretty exhausted. He checked my blood pressure and it's normal, so he's sending me for bloodwork tomorrow morning. My mother is convinced I'm anemic, so I guess we'll find out if there's anything wrong with me.

Steven and I are trying to shopping for a flip-top poker table that doubles as a dinette set. There's one we both like by California House, but it's probably too big to fit in the condo and it's like $5,000 on sale. I'd really like to get it, but I'm not sure if it's in the cards. Pardon the pun.

I'm feeling worse, so I think it's time for me and the cat to go take a little nap while we wait for Steven to come home from work. Have a nice night, all.

The Connection Game

One of the guys at the office was checking the RoadRunner status page for Houston and it looks like there are outages all over Houston, Spring, Humble, and The Woodlands. Odds are not looking good for having a connection when I get home, so I thought I'd make a quick, "How you doing?" post before I left.

I went to The Limited today and totally scored on some sale items. I got two stretchy shirts (cotton/spandex blend), a necklace, and a pair of earrings for $30. I totally love one of the shirts since you can dress it up or down with either pants or a skirt. When I wear it, I'll have to take some pictures.

Joelle's Vegas posts have completely inspired me to post my own Vegas stories here very, very soon. I have a great story that is just a classic drunk story.

Okay, getting ready to leave soon and run to the PetSmart to see if they still have this huge, gorgeous calico oranda that was there when I went in at lunch to get a heater for the tank. I will be pissed if he was sold in between now and then since the guy said they couldn't hold them.

Woo hoo!

I just had to come and go, "Woo hoo!," since I got first place in a poker tournament through some great reads and calls on my part. I also got a second place early this morning, so I'm feeling good.

Steven and I spent a few hours laying on the couch and watching the E! Hollywood True Story on Corey Haim and the Beverly Hills 90210 cast. Quite entertaining and a nice way to just veg out.

My brother and his girlfriend are coming in from a weekend in Mexico and since they're leaving for Europe on Sunday, we're all supposed to go to dinner tonight. Steven's feeling under the weather and is probably going to stay home so he doesn't get anyone sick. Of course, the time and place are still up in the air, so it's anybody's guess what happens tonight. Guess that means it's time for a bit more Civilization: Call To Power.

Conquering the World One City at a Time

Despite wanting to catch up on all kinds of things, I've spent the day playing Civilization: Call To Power (conquering the planet one city at a time), some poker tournaments, and trying to increase my BlogShares fortune (feel free to gift me shares of your blog. I love when someone does that!).

We went to the most fabulous restaurant last night with some friends called Maggiano's. Steven and I had been there before but my food curse was acting up and they were out of lasagna, my absolute favorite thing to eat. Before we got there I made Steven promise to sacrifice a waiter if they were out and I guess the threat proved good enough since they had some.

The portions there are huge and I got the most delicious lasagna that was almost the size of an entire plate. Steven had chicken milanese which he is actually cooking right now in the kitchen. I love my chef-like boyfriend.

Anyway, it's been a lovely (if lazy) day and I hope everyone's enjoying their holiday!

So Much To Say, So Much To Do

Like Christine, I've had a lot I want to say and do around this place, but I haven't really had the energy more than the time to do it. I still want to post an in-depth post about Vegas, I have some pictures to get out of the Pencam, tons of e-mails to answer, and I've got a lot of little things I need to take care of around the house, not to mention a skin idea I've had for months. Poor BiblioBlog hasn't been updated in months, though I've finished ten more books or so since the last update.

It's been easy not to do any of these things since I've started the Lexapro. I've been thinking about how I feel since I've been on it and the answer is much better, desite being so tired all the time. I know my blood pressure is a bit higher (normal as opposed to low), so that may have something to do with it. Plus, I've started drinking more Sprites than Cokes, so my caffiene intake is probably lower too.

Well, we've got friends coming over in an hour and since I'm sitting her in a t-shirt and boxes with my hair in a towel, glasses on, and no make-up, I guess I better go get ready. Maybe over the holiday I can make it a goal to get some of this stuff done.

I can't get away from it. This past weekend, when we were in Portland, Maine, we went to the car after the Sea Dogs game, and there was a huge glop of seagull sh*t right smack in the middle of the windshield. Ugh! Of all the bird sh*t out there, there is nothing more disgusting than that of the seagull!

I've long since learned to keep a roll of paper towels and a bottle of Windex in the car at all times.

Also...HOW do the birds manage to sh*t on the SIDE of the car? Today, there was some on the driver's side door.

I wish I had a garage!

This has been a guest post from Christine of The Passionate Ailurophile.

Another Nap

Yet another nap for me this afternoon after I got home. I've just been so tired ever since I started taking the Paxil. I go back to the doctor next week to discuss how the medicine's working for me and I'm definitely going to mention how exhausted I feel. At least I haven't been feeling as nauseous these last few days.

Tired and Blah

I'm still feeling pretty tired and blah today, I'm guessing from the one-two punch of Aunt Flow and the Paxil. It was all I could do today to keep my eyes open, so I'm headed back to the couch to relax a little longer. Sorry for all the boring, whiny posts lately!

Worst Headache Ever

I've got a terrible, terrible headache right now. You know the kind that makes you feel sick to your stomach and like your head is going to explode? Yeah, that's how I feel right now. I'm not sure if it's the Paxil, PMS, or both, but it sucks.

In other news, I have something that I'd really like to happen, so cross your fingers for me and wish me luck.

Relax Don't Do It

After a very emotional, over-wrought Friday, everything was much better after drinking and a nap that night. I decided to just relax and I took it easy all weekend long. I played video games, watched tv, and pet the cat. I played a lot of Zeus and found some strange sense of peace building my little cities and taking care of my citizens. Shame it's already Monday.

Just Stuff

My Valentine's Day started a little early with roses tonight from Steven, the sweetie. He says I'm going to love my gift, so I can't wait for tomorrow.

I watched the first episode of Survivor: Amazon tonight. I've watched a few episodes of the one that had the cute Texan guy on it, but that's about it. I must say I was really impressed with the show tonight and have set a season pass. The immunity challenge in particular had me in a state of disbelief. How do you blow a three minute lead like that (left vague on purpose so as not to spoil anything)?

Movable Type 2.6 is now out, but I think I'll wait a few days to upgrade since another release always follows right away. :-)

In other news, Kristine has moved her awesome MT Plugin Directory to new digs. It looks awesome and is bound to be as helpful as ever.

I'm glad it's almost Friday. Tomorrow night is yummy Chinese food at Chinese Cafe. I've been trying to get there for a month and other things just keep getting in the way, but tomorrow it's come hell or high water.

Happy almost Friday and Valentine's Day, everyone!

Girl's Night Out

I got a phone call today from Jeanna and the first words out of her mouth were, "I need alcohol. Let's go out tonight instead of tomorrow."

I was having what was shaping up to be a shitty day (side note: there is nothing better than having a day that looks like it's going to end in death and bloodshed actually turn out great) so I readily agreed.

We ended up just wandering around the mall for a while and then going to dinner at Red Lobster but, as always, I had the greatest time hanging out with her. We laughed, we called people jack monkeys, we sang along to old ballads, we discussed books, and just talked about whatever random thing happened across our minds.

Isn't it wonderful to have a best friend?

Decision Made

We went to Cingular (my cellular provider) to see what deals they might have going on since they're in the same parking lot of the gym anyway.

They didn't have any of the cool phones that I mentioned before. They have some kind of a new network coming online this year and they should have all those types of phones later. I wasn't going to get anything, but they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Basically, I signed another year contract at my current plan and got a Motorola 120T (mine is a pretty silver and blue with the little Cingular guy on it, not that ugly black) for free that I can use as a trade in when the new phones come in.

It's not the phone that I want, but I can trade up for one later and not have to change my phone number. Plus, I still get a Valentine's Day gift. ;-)

Decisions, Decisions

The boyfriend just offered to buy me one of those really expensive phones (like this one for example) that I have been drooling over for a while as a Valentine's Day gift.

Now, I don't really *need* one of those phones. I could use that money to pay off some bills instead. But what fun is that? Be responsible or get a cool phone. Be responsible or get a cool phone. Decisions, decisions.

Update: okay, the link really does go to a phone now. Go see what I'm talking about.

Blog Free Weekend

For whatever reason, I just didn't feel much like blogging this weekend.

Friday night was a night of drunken revelry with my sweetiepie followed up with lots of TiVo watching. Nothing too exciting, but I was a happy chica and that's what really counts.

Saturday was spent mostly playing Zeus, Master of Olympus and a few poker tournaments (I placed in all of them, I believe). We had some friends come over so there was more drinking, dinner at a Mexican restaurant, homemade "Serious" Vanilla Ice Cream, Panic Room on DVD, more TiVo watching, and more Zeus playing.

Big surprise, but today was pretty much the same thing over again. Sometimes it's just good to not worry about anything and just play video games. Know what I mean?

Ubercool Lunchboxes

If you read my post today at Changes - Turning a New Leaf about buying a new lunchbox, you already know that I am the proud new owner of an Army of Darkness lunchbox that came with a set of Evil Dead shotglasses.

While looking for that little gem, I found the coolest lunch box ever, which I too now own. It's a Mexican Day of the Dead metal lunchbox. It's got capering skeletons and demons along the sides. What else could you possibly want out of a lunchbox?

I never got the lunchbox collection thing before, but these were far too cool to pass up. My snacks will be traveling in style!

Today

Today was one of those days. You know those days where everything is screwed up?

It started out with me oversleeping then getting to work only to find out that I have a client meeting in a few hours (surprise!) for a new client, so that's like skipping ten steps in how we're supposed to do things. It progressed to weird client expectations (lady, that is so not in your scope) and projects that are doomed. We're supposed to have dance class tonight, but I don't feel like going. I'd rather sit here and do nothing.

At least the day is over. Kind of making it hard to come up with my Participation Positives!

Lovely Sunday

I've been sitting around not doing anything today except playing Zeus: Master of Olympus and its expansion pack, Poseidon. I can't remember why I stopped playing these games. They are so fun.

Steven and I had dinner last night with my brother, his girlfriend, her sister, and two of their friends. Fun time, but I had way too much to drink. At least I didn't get sick. :-)

I guess it's just about time to go back to work. Pity.

SXSW - To Go or Not To Go

I had pretty much not even considered going to SXSW this year even though I could get a discounted badge for being a Bloggies finalist (btw, the voting ends tonight, so if you haven't voted yet, you still have time). I was talking to Rannie and he suggested blowing off the conference and just coming up for the weekend and hanging out at night.

This is a great idea. Steven's brother has an apartment in Austin that he rarely uses, so I bet we could even wrangle a free room. So, if I do decide to go, who else is coming? If there's enough cool people, it may help make my mind up for me. ;-)

The Blog A Day Tour

(That's right... it's the 2003 Blog A Day Tour by Laurence Simon of Amish Tech Support! This is not a post by Kymberlie - she is not this neurotic.)

I like the name of Kymberlie's site. "Neurotic Fishbowl" has a ring to it, don't you think?

There's something relaxing and healing about watching fish for a while. Sure, the tank can be a royal pain to maintain, but not if you're watching somebody else's fishbowl. It's kind of like visiting someone to get all the benefits of cat or dog therapy without having to have your own cat or dog.

Is it just as soothing for people to look at a weblog fishbowl and stare at the author-fish within? Will a screen-saver fishbowl do just as well, or a DVD with fishy goings-on work on an HDTV receiver? Will every cable system eventually show a fishbowl channel like that one station in New York does the Yule Log?

Anyway, the thought that came to my mind about this site had to do with some other sites out there and titles. Every now and then, a site gets really big, and all sorts of other sites pop up that play on that site's name.

For instance, Glenn Reynolds' InstaPundit. With his success, all sorts of people jumped on the *pundit bandwagon, like VodkaPundit and DailyPundit, and QuasiPundit and IsraPundit and Isntapundit and so forth. I'm sure that many of these folks were *pundit before the pundit-to-end-all-pundits" (or is that pundit-to-link-all-pundits) came about, but quite a few popped up.

Unlike the pundit-clique, there's also a lot of people just happily swimming in their fishbowls. It made me wonder why there aren't any plays on this site's name, seeing as how neat I think is it. I mean, imagine if there were a Psychotic Fishbowl or an Erotic Fishbowl or a Despotic Fishbowl out there. What would those sites be about?

How about playing on the Neurotic part with a Neurotic Soupbowl or a Neurotic Toiletbowl or Neurotic Manute Bol? An Oklahoma author could call his site the "Neurotic Dustbowl" even.

(Once again, this was not Kymberlie. This was the Amish Tech Support Blog A Day Tour stop for today. We now return you to your regularly-scheduled fishbowling.)

Quiet Today

I've been kind of quiet today, but I feel like I've got a lot of stuff accomplished.

I went through my sidebar and put just about everything into its own php file, so I hope this helps on load time. I also cut the last read books list down to fifteen and created a To Be Read list. That's been something I've been meaning to do forever, so I'm glad it's done.

I also stumbled across a good way to launch my blogroll and finally installed it.

I added a few things to Changes - Turning a New Leaf like a blogroll and a last 50 referrers script.

Anyway, still working on my To Read List (it's amazing how long that is!), but just wanted to say hi to all my faithful readers. ;-)

Update: I also added the show/hide anything script that Jenn was nice enough to create for me. So far it's only in place in my new "To Do List" in The Fishkeeper section of my sidebar, but it's certainly handy enough to be used in lots of places.

Things To Do, but Oh, So Tired

I wanted to sit on the computer and work on things all night (even though I've gotten a lot of stuff on the latest To Do List done already), but after the best massage ever (Amber was amazing. She was able to work just about all the knots out of my neck and shoulders, something that never happens) I have been too unmotivated. As a matter of fact, I am going to shower and either come back downstairs and watch tonight's ER or stay upstairs and read more in Jemima J. Kicked My Ass

Today was a day that kicked my ass.

Like I said in this post, I fell asleep on the couch last night at about 10:00, woke up at about 1:00, and took a sleeping pill probably around 2:15 or so. While it allowed me to go back to sleep, that pill completely screwed my day.

I was under this fog where it took me like a minute to answer questions and every third keystroke was a typo. I just couldn't wake up and I felt like I was underwater.

I finally started coming out of it around 1:00 in the afternoon, but when I got home tonight after running a bunch of errands, I sat on the bed and drifted in and out of sleep until Steven got home about a half hour later. It's now almost 10:00, so I have to go get ready so we can go eat something, but I still just want to go to bed. Let's hope I get a second wind.

Randomness

I was planning on coming home from work and doing some new posts (I have this "The Year in Numbers" thing that I want to do), watching a movie, and adding some pictures to Picture Fish, but that got totally derailed.

I did come home from work and I got some barbecue from Barney's BBQ near my parents so I could meet up with my mom and loan her Bloody Bones and Narcissus in Chains by Laurell K. Hamilton (I've got her ready the Anita Blake series and have already loaned her the rest). I started watching Shadow of the Vampire, which has been on the TiVo forever, but I was tired and my tummy full of barbecue, so I fell asleep. I just woke up and finished the movie off (pretty good movie, btw. Willem Dafoe was absolutely amazing) and now I need to get a shower in and see if there's anyway for me to go back to sleep. I feel pretty tired, but I think the nap is going to jack my sleep schedule up for the night. Isn't it amazing how there's never enough time to do all the things you want to do?

I mentioned the other day that Steven was off to buy ice cream ingredients to use his Cuisinart ICE-20 1-1/2-Quart Automatic Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt & Sorbet Maker, but I never mentioned how the ice cream came out.

His first batch was French Vanilla, made from Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book. It was simply delicious and tasted like it had come from an ice cream palor. I was a very happy little neurotic fish eating it.

The second batch was mango ice cream made using a base from the Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream & Dessert Book and a recipe from The Ultimate Ice Cream Book: Over 500 Ice Creams, Sorbets, Granitas, Drinks, and More. I don't like mangos, so the flavor did nothing for me, but Steven loved it. We took some with us last night to our friends' house and they ate it up.

It seems, then, that the ice cream maker was a great buy and is going to be a big hit. It's incredibly easy to use and was pretty cheap to boot. Now if he would just make some peanut butter ice cream (I am dying to try it)....

Tweaking

I did a little tweaking around here today. I added a GuestMap to the sidebar, so make me happy and leave a little pin in it for me.

I also spent forever messing around with MT tags before I finally figured out what I was doing wrong and now the last five comments and pings are displayed in the sidebar as well. I've always wanted to display those and finally got around to doing so.

It's been a quite New Year's Day, just how I like it. Now to go do some online shopping and maybe, finally, update Picture Fish.

Zonk No More

I got rid of the Zonkboard to see if it's been the problem with the slow load time on the site. Could everyone let me know if they've had a problem, are still having a problem, or have had no problems with the site loading? Thanks!

Update: I was in the MT Forums getting ready to ask a question when I came upon a post titled "Load Time" in the Tips and Tricks forum. Girlie found out that it's actually the Fast Online Users count script that's killing all the pages. I guess the Zonkboard will reappear and that might disappear. I really did like seeing how many people were on my site at any given time, though. :-(

Sweetness

I have such a sweet boy. He knew I had a crappy day (only compounded by Aunt Flo's visit), so he brought me home these gorgeous orange roses and he's in the kitchen making me soup and toast with the edges cut off. I am such a lucky girl!

Blah and Stuff

Aunt Flo is visiting, so I'm feeling particularly blah today. I've got like no energy and just spent an hour and a half sitting in our big comfortable leather chair watching the original A Nightmare on Elm Street. While it's not a half bad film, it just didn't live up to my memories of how good it was. If we had a DVD player in the back room, I'd pop in my copy of The Evil Dead and watch it. As much as I love the second two, I've never actually seen the original. Maybe I'll go get comfy on the couch and watch it.

I got a new computer at work (2.4 GHz) and moved to a different spot, so I feel like I didn't get anything done today. Add in the insanity that usually takes place around my office, and I wish I would have just stayed home curled up in bed.

That damned tart made me another skin, this one completely done in CSS and featuring a very sexy cowgirl (much saucier than the other pin-up she made me). Expect to see it up here before the night is over. Thanks to Robyn yet another new skin is being worked on. That one will be my first celebrity skin (I just like using that phrase).

That's all for now, boys and girls, so take care, eat some chocolate for me and watch a scary movie or two. You'll thank me later.

Sephora Sale

I was over at Sephora.com ordering Comptoir Sud Pacifique's Amour de Cacao perfume and thought I'd see if they have any sales. They've got stuff for up to 75% off, so I highly recommend checking it out. They had the Sephora Animal Stories Bath Gift Set for $5.00 and I know they started out December at $16.00 a piece. Also, if you're a member of Ebates, you get 3% back on all purchases. If you're not a member, go sign up. I've saved a couple of hundred bucks through them.

Friday Night

I've got some old high school friends coming over tonight that I haven't seen in ages. We're going to have drinks at the house (Can you say piña colada? I knew you could!) and talk and then we're off to Lupe Tortilla for some yummy Mexican food. Two of them live up north, so I bet a decent fajita is fairly hard to find in Pennsylvania.

It's both exciting and kind of scary to see people you haven't seen in so long, know what I mean?

Merry Christmas!

It's now officially Christmas and about time for me to go join Steven and hit the sack. He really liked all his books and the gift certificate and I am totally jonesing for peanut butter ice cream after flipping through all the recipes. Doesn't that sound yummy?

Unsurprisingly, Steven's lasagna was to die for (he is such an excellent cook) and we have so much left, we'll probably end up taking some to both sets of parents tomorrow. He got me this really pretty watch that's all silver and blue (he so knows what I like). Watches are almost a tradition for me on Christmas since he gave me one only a few weeks after we started dating that I just loved.

Anyway, it's almost three in the morning, presents are wrapped and lined up, ready to go with us tomorrow. I doubt I'll be on much, so this week's Reasons For Love and "It's a Group Thing" will either get pushed to tomorrow or not done at all. We see how it goes. I've also got some lovely pin-up goodness courtesy of that tart that should be showing up soon, so keep an eye out.

I hope everyone enjoys their holiday and gets all of their heart's desire! Merry Christmas!

Slow Day

Wow. I can't believe it's already 10:00. I've spent most of the day playing pool, getting my points from places like Milesource, finally downloading the 350 e-mails I've had sitting in my account (I answer them through my webmail all week and get behind on clearing them out), and doing surveys for various companies.

I can't believe it's already Christmas time. Woo hoo!

Wonderful Friday

Today has been a nice Friday. We had our office party this afternoon and followed it up with three games of Ultimate Outburst. It was fun and a nice way to start five days off from work since I'm taking Monday off and we get Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm now buzzing on piña and luxuriating in the fact that I have nothing to do. I Love Good Customer Service

At this time of year especially, good customer service can seem hard to come by. That's why I was particularly pleased with my latest transaction with Amazon.

I had ordered Young Frankenstein on DVD and Andrea Bocelli's CD Cieli di Toscana. I went to check when they would be shipped and despite both having the "Usually ships in 24 hours" blurb, delivery wasn't expected to happen for eleven more days. I was thinking of giving the CD to Steven for Christmas, so needless to say, I wanted my stuff here quicker. I called their customer service line and spoke to a nice young man who upgraded me to two day shipping for free to ensure that I would get my gift.

Here's to Amazon! Way to make the customer happy!

Sunday Recap

I played EverQuest until 6:00 this morning, so needless to say, I slept pretty darn late this afternoon.

I woke up, hit the sites I hit every day, read some e-mail, and hopped on the StairMaster. The rest of the day has been filled with Hammerhead Pool at Pogo, reading e-mail, adding people to I Wish, You Wish (everyone who sent me an e-mail has been added, so if you want to get listed, send me your info), tweaking its look, and watching the cat sleep on the floor in the cutest curled-up ball.

I am having an internal debate about what to go get for dinner (Buger and fries? Mexican food? Chicken? I just can't decide), but despite it raining out there, I am going to go soon because I'm starving. I've still got tons of things to do (expect another To Do List post soon), but it's time for some food and to watch a little TiVo.

Weekend Update

I haven't posted much over the last few days, so here's what's going on with me.

With Christine not working with me, things are pretty busy. I actually felt like shit when I woke up Friday morning, so I took the day off. I slept until like 1:00, spending the day cuddling with the kitty since, now that she uses her box, she doesn't have to stay cooped up in the bathroom at night. I felt much better upon rising, but I've still got a nagging headache. I had killer headaches about four years ago and these kind of remind me of them. I think it's time to see the neurologist again.

Shelli had this wonderful idea and asked me to be partners on it with her. It's called I Wish, You Wish and the concept behind it is that it will be a central location for all blogger's wishlists. Birthdays will be displayed as well making it easy for you to see if there is anyone out in the blogosphere that you need to a get a gift for. Currently the design is broke and there's only a small list of people, but with the help of Wendell we plan on making it database driven and eventually even have automatted sign-ups. It should be a cool project, so be sure to keep an eye on it. Anyone have any feedback or a wishlist (pardon the pun) of features that would be useful?

I've spent the last several days completely amused by Bella. I bought some Keepsake Ornaments from Hallmark Thursday night (damn my ornament obsession!) and brought them home in this big paper bag with handles. I left it in the computer room and Bella has been having the time of her life crawling in it, jumping on it, biting the handles, and just being a complete loon. It's the funniest thing to watch her play with it.

Steven and I are going to be leaving soon to go eat some cheap, delicious Chinese food over at Chinese Cafe. I guess that means I should go get out of my robe and get dressed.

Hypothetical Question

I have a hypothetical for you people out there. Let's say I know someone who has a hacked satellite card (and no, it's really not me). Let's say they were interested in getting a TiVo. They are worried that, somehow, they will get caught having a hacked satellite card; that somehow TiVo would pass that information on. I say that they can't get caught. Anyone know?

Lovely Friday (With Pictures)!

Christine was a sweetheart and treated me to lunch today at Lupe's Tortillas. I posted pictures from our trip over at Picture Fish, so be sure to swing by and see them.

This week was an awesome week. My biggest client was out of town, so that reduced my workload and my stress level a lot. Plus, we have several projects on very aggressive timelines, so all my projects that were waiting on client input pretty much stayed that way.

I've had so much fun playing EverQuest and having a stress-free week, that I am not looking forward to Monday. However, I'm slightly drunk, Steven and I are going to Austin tomorrow for the UT game, and life is good, so I can't complain.

Everyone enjoy their lovely Friday evening!

Kabana Jewelry

I've been thinking about what I want from Steven this year for Christmas and it occured to me that besides my class ring, I don't have a single piece of jewelry that's not costume. I was reading blogs and someone had a link to Kabana Jewelry. I requested a catalog, but neither it nor the website actually have prices. I assume that since prices aren't displayed and they use expensive stones like tanzanite, that's it's probably pretty pricey. They don't have a location here in Houston, but I was wondering if anyone has seen there stuff in real life and have an idea of their cost.

Lazing About

It's been one of those days where I haven't been motivated to do anything. I played some Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom (but I'm annoyed with the campaign; each new mission is build another city. I would like to build up a city before leaving it directly) and some Civilization: Call To Power. We were thinking of going to dinner at Carrabba's tonight, but it's already so late, I'm not sure we're going to make it. At least I did twenty minutes on the StairMaster today and I did it before eating anything, so it's really like I did forty minutes. I think I might download the MTAmazon Plugin and see if it will work well for the DVD page that I want to make.

Anyway, everyone enjoy the bit of Saturday that's left!

Friday Filler

Have I ever mentioned I love Fridays? I do. Work was great because everyone was in a wonderful mood and now I'm home, buzzing on raspberry piña coladas. Steven and I are going to Chinese Cafe for dinner tonight (they have the best shrimp fried rice in the world), so I'm salivating just thinking of it.

On the workout front, I drank between six and eight glasses of water on Wednesday, Thursday, and today, went to the gym on Tuesday and Wednesday, and StairMastered for twenty minutes last night even though I was tired and hungry.

I got the most amazing manicure last night with some nail polish I had bought at Wal-Mart. It's Rimmel 60 Second Dry and the color is called Mania. It's the most amazing nail color I've ever seen. It's this green and blue irridescent mix that looks like a peacock's feather or a butterfly's wing. It looks so great with my long nails. I just love it!

Plus, I've got a new skin up, fixed some minor issues that had been bugging me all week, and now my quick search works (need to fix my advanced search this weekend).

All in all, it's a kick-ass day. I'm off for a quick shower, so everyone enjoy their Friday! ~drunken hugs and kisses all around~

Just a Buck To Change Their Luck

PetSmart always accepts donations towards their charities for homeless pets, but right now they are selling the Spay and Neuter stamps that the Post Office is offering with the proceeds going to their charity. Also, by giving a $10 donation, you receive a commemorative T-shirt featuring the Fall 2002 U.S. Postal Service Neuter and Spay stamp design. I always drop a couple of bucks in the donation receptacle when I go in, so getting a t-shirt for leaving a few more dollars was a no-brainer when I picked Bella up this afternoon. The girl behind the counter was sweet and thanked me several times for buying a shirt. They must be having a hard time moving them, so if you've got $10 and want to help homeless pets, drop by PetSmart and make a donation.

I just went and looked at the poll for Photojunkie's 100K Photo Contests "Movement" category and my entry, "Hellcat," is not very far out of first place and I got all excited. I lead the category for quite some time, but have been in second place for the last day or so. Here's hoping for a last minute rally!

Tuesday Update

Jeanna and I both had shitty days so we decided to ditch yoga class and instead go look for paterns for costumes for the Renaissance Fair. I've always wanted to go as a lusty wench, but feel in love with the costume I found for a lusty gypsy. I want to modify it so that the leg is cut high and I get a garter with a dagger. Jeanna found a great outfit too, so now we need to find someone who can sew the costumes for us. After a stressful day, it was nice to just have some fun and blow everything off.

In other news, I still have been unable to find my class ring. I've called the two places I went to yesterday before noticing it was missing, the gallery we went to Friday night (though I don't think I lost it there; I still have it on in the mirror pictures I took), the pizza place we ate at Friday night, and even the University of Houston in case someone tried to find me through there. I called ArtCarved and they said U of H went to a standard ring, so I can't get my ring recreated even if I wanted to drop the $400 or $500 it would cost. I am so heartbroken. I loved that ring. I wore it every day for over five years. Steven and I have torn the place up with no trace, but I keep hoping it's going to turn up. It really sucks to lose something with so much sentimental value.

Finally! At Last!

I forgot to mention, but tonight while getting some kitty litter and soap, I moseyed down the breakfast aisle in search of the ever-elusive Kellogg's Blueberry Pop-Tart. Not the nasty frosted kind that I find every where, but the unfrosted plain kind. I've been looking for them on and off whenever I go into a grocery store for the past year and was convinced that they had been discontinued. Amazingly enough, tonight the Gerland's by my house (which I never shop at) had them in eight count boxes. The heavens sang and I joyously bought a box. And here I thought I would never find them again. Who says miracles never happen?

B! Beads

As I mentioned earlier, I received some beautiful jewelry today from B! Beads. B! Beads sells hand-made jewelry (necklaces, earrings, and bracelets) made to your specification by Bronwyn. You can see the beads I bought here. If you visit her site, I bought the Cloud Blue necklace, earrings, and bracelet. The bracelet was a bit too small, so she's generously offered to fix it for me free of charge. While she's doing that, I think I'm going to order some more earrings. :-) If you love beads or jewelry of any kind, give her a visit. I'm sure you'll love what you see. Btw, I found Bronwyn though a link on Chel's site, so thanks for the link find, Chel!

Lazy Day

It's been a lazy Saturday around our house. Steven's not been feeling too well, so he's been on the couch watching tv all day, I've been mostly playing Civilization: Call To Power, and Bella napped on my desk all day.

In other news, she's been using her litterbox this week. A few days ago she came running into the hall and I though, "Oh no. What did you do?" She heard the automatic litterbox start up and she always comes to investigate the noise. I looked in there and, sure enough, she'd used the box and I didn't even have to put her in there. Today when she got up from her long nap and starting walking around I picked her up and put her in the bathtub with the box and told her to be a good kitty and left the room. She got in and used the box, so I praised her and gave her a cat treat. Maybe we'll get her trained yet.

Sonic Add-Ins

Christine and I made a late afternoon run to Sonic today. While waiting on our food, we noticed their "Add-Ins" for drinks. We were personally appalled that you could add some of that stuff to any drink. Why in the world would you want to add blue coconut or chocolate flavoring to a drink? They make a mean cherry coke, but there is no way in hell I am adding any of those others to a drink! Yuck! Anyone ever tried a Coke with any those flavorings besides cherry or vanilla?

The Bet

Steven and I have been slacking in the fitness/health things we used to do: we used to go to the gym three or four times a week and we used to eat better during the week. Now, I'm lucky if I do fifteen or twenty mintues once or twice a day on the StairMaster, I eat crappy all the time, and I haven't been into the gym in months. I'm in pretty good shape, but I would like to lose a little weight since I've been unhappy with how I look in photos lately, especially with how my neck just seems to be fusing into one big column. Okay, that's a little extreme, but I'm unhappy with how I look.

Steven and I actually made it to the gym last week and we were talking about how we've really become sloths when it comes to our workouts. I am one of those people that work best when I have a clear goal and, preferrably, a clear reward. Steven asked me how much weight I would like to lose and I told him, ideally, fifteen pounds. I jokingly told him he needed to set me a reward for part of that so I could get motivated and he agreed.

So now we have a bet: I am to lose five pounds by the end of the first week in September - a third of my goal. If I do so, I get five intern massages from the local massage school (get your mind out of the gutter; real massages). If I don't, I think he's got in mind that I have to take him out to a really nice dinner, but we never agreed on that. Of course, the "fear" of having to pay if I don't make my goal might help inspire me.

Anyway, I am going to try and do the following:

I'm hoping that by posting here I will become a little bit more accountable for my actions; that's the same reason I post my To Do Lists here. If I post them and someone else can see them, I'm more likely to do whatever it is I am supposed to. Wish me luck!

AOL Slap in the Face

Kristine blogged about how much she hates the AOL commericals that are always on TV ("I can talk to my friends with Instant Messanger!" I always yell back at the TV, "You don't need AOL to use AIM, you idiot!"). I can't stand them either.

Last week I thought a new one was coming on when an AIM screen pops up on the TV. One guy IMs the other and says that's he's on AIM. The other guy says he is too. The other one says how easy it is to get online. The other guy says same here. The first guy goes, "AOL only costs me $23.90 a month!" The second guy types back, "What!!!??? Juno only costs me $9.50 a month! :-)" I laughed so hard at that. I guess someone at Juno must think the same thing I do every time one of those commercials comes on.

Kitty Missing

When I came home from work today the kitty was not on the porch where he has pretty much been since we adopted each other. We went to dance class, came home, watched The Dead Zone, still no kitty. I walked around the whole complex going, "Here, kitty, kitty," but he didn't show up. I am now worried that someone took him to a shelter and he's going to be put to sleep. I hope he's just out prowling around. Steven said he was here when he went to work a little before 11:00, so he's only been missing, at most, about twelve hours. I hope he comes back!

Sunday Stuff

Been a busy day here. Steven and I met his mom and dad for lunch at Thai Spice, a Thai buffet. I'm not a big fan of Thai and Indian food, but it wasn't too bad. After that we ran the monitor that I borrowed from work over to my office and went to Best Buy to pick up my repaired monitor. There wasn't enough voltage (or something like that), so they did some internal adjustments on my monitor and I have color contrast again. Yeah! After that we came home, I got first place in another poker tournament, and started fixing some images to put into Picture Fish. Be warned. The next update at over there will probably be over twenty pictures. I've just finished stairmastering, so I'm going to go watch a little tv and eat some dinner. Shame that the weekend is already over. I could have used a longer weekend this time for sure!

Exhausted

Jeanna and I had a great time at DCI last night, but my shoulder and arm started hurting really bad amd by the time I went to bed, I could barely move it. I woke up this morning due to some noisy disturbances and was in agony. I was able to get back to sleep, but had to wake up at 10:00 (very early for me on the weekend) to meet a friend at the mall. We shopped until three, I came home, messed around on the computer, and finally fell asleep, exhausted and with aching feet. I just woke up and I feel just out of it. I have a lot of things I want to get done (a few review-type posts here), a possible design/domain thing I've been thinking about, a ton of pictures I want to get into Picture Fish, and other stuff as well. I'm going to try and wake up and take care of some of it, but right now, I just want to go back to sleep.

General Ramblings

It's been really nasty out the last few days and I've been tired, so not a lot of blogging going on.

I had a really bizarre dream last night where Steven and I were going to go to Italy, but he decided to send me on to Beijing first for a few days. I started panicking because I couldn't find my passport, I was going to China alone, and I don't speak Chinese. Then I started to think that Steven wanted me to go alone so I would get kidnapped and end up in a white slavery ring. I woke up anxious and exhausted. Not a good way to start the morning.

I added a few more pictures to Picture Fish and sent a few to my brother to see if he couldn't get them to come out a little cleaner. I also submitted my picture Rearview to The Mirror Project.

My best friend Jeanna had to put her dog to sleep yesterday, so we're going to a movie tonight to see Road To Perdition. I've been hearing both really good reviews and really bad reviews, so we'll see how it is.

I guess that's it for now. Hopefully I'll get some good rest tonight and not feel so tired and out of it tomorrow.

Picturing Delivery

Yes! I checked the shipping status of my Sony DSC-P71 Cyber-Shot 3MP Digital Camera that I ordered from Amazon and it says it's out for delivery. I should get my camera today after all! Woo hoo!

Update: Liars! It was scheduled for delivery... to the post office! Apparently Airborne sends them to the post office first and then the post office delivers them. Looks like I'll get it Monday or Tuesday instead. And I was so looking forward to getting my camera for the weekend and showing off my new nails for Promo.

Second Update: Brian and I were going to Wal-Mart to get some flowers for his wife when we passed the postman carrying a big Amazon box. I sadly said, "I wish I was getting an Amazon box today." We got out to the car when Brian got beeped on his cell phone. It was Christine saying that I had just gotten a big Amazon box. When we came back from Wal-Mart I opened it up and there was my camera! I got it today after all and now I am happy.

Dr. Nickle, I Presume

Steven and I went to Hooters today for lunch. The waitress, whose name is Nickle, asked for our drink orders. I ordered a Coke, no ice (I hate ice in drinks). She gasps and goes, "OMG. That is so bad for your stomach. Are you sure you want that?" I told her yes, thinking she was talking about the Coke in general since it's got so much acid and really isn't all that good for you. She then said, "Can't I put just a few pieces in there?" and it dawned on me that she wasn't talking about the Coke itself, but the lack of ice. I assured her that I did indeed want my Coke without ice, and after shaking her head, she put my order in. Steven leaned across the table after she left and told me, "Honey, that's what's been wrong with your stomach all this time! You drink your drinks without ice! You could have said all that money on doctors and an endoscopy and just asked Nickle and she could have told you the answer to your problems!"

Ah, if only I had known that Dr. Nickle was only a few blocks away from work, think of all the pain I could have saved myself!

All I can say is Thank God It's Wednesday. With tomorrow being a national holiday, I decided to take Friday off as well and I am glad I did. I have been so mentally exhausted lately because of shit going on at work. We desperately need another PM. I ended up working until 10:30 last night just so I could get caught up on everything. I have been feeling really burnt out and the last couple of days I've felt like crying at the drop of a hat. I am planning on leaving a little early today, going to the chiropractor (my neck and shoulder are killing me. Saturday Stuff

We just got back from dinner with my brother and parents (Dad's birthday was last week and Father's Day is tomorrow) and we're going over their house to play dominoes. I probably won't get to post about my trip until tomorrow, but everyone have a great Saturday!

Yes I Am!

I was walking out to my car today to go to lunch when a guy passed me going the other way. He remarked, "Hot one," (we live in Houston and it's sweltering outside) and I had the urge to go, "Yes. Yes I am," since we all know I am a such a little hottie.

Just Rub Me

Christine and I just made our spa treatment appointments with the very elite resort that we are going to for our business trip. I am getting a full-body deep tissue massage. When I talked to the guy who scheduled my appointment he let me know that only male therapists will be available at the hour I chose. I've had about a dozen massages, but they've all been by females before. Personally, my motto when it comes to massages is this, "Male. Female. Alien. Goat. Whatever. Just rub me."

Working Away

I've been working on that huge engineering document today (the one that I've been working on all week), and I finally finished the front-end, except for some sections that I have to talk to Christine about. It is a seventeen page Visio document. The good news: it's almost completely finished. The bad news: I still have to do the massive back-end of the site. Since Christine, Krista (our lead designer), and I are going to Tucson to talk to the client on Thursday, I think I'm just going to get everyone to give feedback and comments on the finished diagram and work on the back-end one when I get back. I can't see anyway to have both finished by Wednesday.

Sunday Fun Day

My best friend Jeanna came over today and we spent the afternoon shopping at Half-Price books (evil store; don't even ask me how much I spent there!), going to the movies where we saw Insomnia (good movie, but very dark. Robin Williams was excellent as the bad guy.), and just generally caught up. We hadn't seen each other since my birthday, so it was nice to go out again. It's a shame the weekend had to end, but at least it ended with a fun day!

It's All About Me, Baby!

Today has been a day, that I declared for myself, to be all about me. I didn't have a lot of work to do, so I modified my blog. I played with calendars, with skins, with PHP includes, and just generally enjoyed making tweaks. I left work by 6:30 (which is usually pretty early for me) and went to this fabulous barbeque restaurant that I have been craving for weeks. I came home, sat on the couch in my underwear, and watched stuff on the Tivo. Now, I am going to play Zeus for a few hours. I am happy, tomorrow's Friday, we're meeting friends for dinner and drinks, and I am glad to be alive. :-)

Breathing Heavily

I just got off the StairMaster, and I feel like I'm going to die. The best way to use the StairMaster is to get on it before you eat or drink anything so you're burning stored fat instead of calories. Let me tell you, that is hard to do if you haven't eaten yet. Ah, What a Day!

I spent the day at Urban Retreat and it was wonderful! Unfortunately, Trish didn't get to come with me, but it was still a nice time. I swung by the radio station first to get my Office of the Day prize, so I have a four pack of "gourmet orange soda" and a $50 gift certificate to Cookie Bouquet. Apparently, there was a big issue at work with on of my clients that has now been resolved, so it looks like I picked a good day for my mental health day!

Not sure what's on the agenda for tonight. Steven's talking about going to see Spider-Man, but I don't think I feel like putting up with crowds and all. I hope everyone else is having a great Friday!

My Weekend Begins Now!

Tomorrow Trish and I are off to Urban Retreat Day Spa for their Elegant Retreat Package. I'm not sure what all I won, but they said there's a gift certificate to Cookie Bouquet, so that's enough for me. Glad my mom was listening and heard them call my name!

So, a three day weekend for me and I've even got all of my work stuff taken care of. I am going to go home, relax, play Zeus and Poseidon, and watch tv. To paraphrase Dean Martin, how lucky can one girl get?

Broke My Streak

I broke my five day streak of having at least eight glasses of water a day yesterday (very stressful, hectic day topped off by going to the ball game), but I am back on track today. So far I've made a big $6.50 off of Steven for all my water consumed. He says that I look thinner and my skin looks better, though I haven't really noticed a difference. Steven, though, is not one of those people who would say he sees a difference if he doesn't. I'm hoping that I'll just start shedding the pounds noticeably any day now. :-)

Enjoying the Day

Christine and I went to James Coney Island for lunch today (Yummy!) and after we got done eating we decided to go Wal-Marting. Steven and I leave in ten days for our annual trip to Las Vegas (I can't wait!), but we have no luggage of our own. We always borrow from our parents, which bugs the crap out of me, so I figured it's high time we got our own. While looking for luggage (and finding a nice five piece set for $80), Christine and I found flowers for our desks at work (we actually sit right next to each other and share a common desk area). I bought twenty beautiful Lipstick roses for $15 and she bought some lovely daises. Our desks look so nice! I also got Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure on DVD for just under $10 and we bought a new beta fish since Christine's fish Pixel looks like he is getting ready to move on to the great fishbowl in the sky. All in all, we had a nice lunch and fun shopping. Mikey, I think Christine may even have some pictures to post! :-)

As Easy As Shaving Your Cat's Ass

My friend Tod at the office was talking to one of his friends about the new operating system for Macs, the OS X. His buddy asked him what he thought of it. Tod doesn't like the new OS (thinks it's difficult to use, etc.) and said, "It's as easy as shaving your cat's ass." (Think about it. It would be hard to shave a cat's ass.) Steven and I had dinner Friday night at Chinese Cafe (Yes, Audra, the one on Belaire. I love their shredded chicken in white sauce and their shrimp fried rice. Yummy, yummy!) and I managed to find some raspberry puree on the way home from work Friday afternoon, so I got some raspberry piña coladas this weekend after all. I spent most of the weekend playing dominoes at Pogo.com and downloading adventures for Zeus and Poseidon by Impressions Games. I think I am ready to become obsessed by it again and lose myself in more Greek adventures.

I am adjusting to the time change, even though I hate it and am not looking forward to it being even brighter when I go to work in the morning. I hate the sun and go no where without sunglasses.

I hope that Christine will have more luck with the php on the server and my skins will be back soon. This plain skin is driving me nuts. I miss all of my pretty fishbowl skins. I have one more that Kristine made and personalized for The Neurotic Fishbowl. I've almost got it tweaked the way I want it. I really need to learn CSS. I spent one day at work when I didn't have much to do going, "Stretch, you damn yellow line, stretch!"

I guess I have rambled enough now that I will go finish watching "The Court." I've been Tivoing it, but just got around to watching it today. Wasn't incredible impressed with the first episode, so we'll see if it remains a season pass for much longer.

Everyone enjoy the little bit of weekend left!

Blonder and Blonder

I forgot to mention, but I got my hair cut yesterday (about four inches) and got more blonde highlights, very light blonde ones for the spring/summer season. It feels so nice to be rid of the nasty split ends that I had and I love the the little light blonde streaks around my face.

Relax...

As with most Fridays, I am glad that it is the end of the work week. I look forward to two days with nothing to do but screw around. No late nights at the office, no wondering if a deadline is going to be met, nothing at all to do. My biggest worry this weekend will be trying to locate some rasperry puree so that my piña coladas take like raspberries. It seems like the local Randall's quit carrying it (bastards!). Anyone know where to buy any?

We Have a Winner!

I am a sucker for online contests and enter just about all of them that I find. I answered some trivia questions last month at Gourmet Guess and I was one of this month's winners! I won a Capresso WaffleDUO and a Component Design Northwest Multitask Digital Timer & Clock. I love waffles, so what can be better than heart-shaped waffles on a kick-ass waffle maker that I won? :-)

Friday Recap and Weekend Plans

Today's been a pretty good day. We had a client meeting that lasted until lunch, but we plotted what work needs to be done for next week and hopefully we won't have another 2 AM launch.

Steven and I had lunch today and then we went over to the PetSmart by my office to look at the fish. We decided that we'll go have lunch at Chinese Cafe tomorrow and then go to Aquarium World (or as I like to call it - The Big Fish Store) to see what fish they have. Since we've lost three guys, all we have left is Arnold, the ryukin, and the pearlscale. The pearlscale and ryukin are too small for the fifty-five gallon tank, so we need more fish. After that we will probably swing back by the PetSmart and get one of the calico orandas that I think are just so cute. Hopefully, we'll find some new cute guys who we'll actually be able to keep alive!

I'm meeting Jeanna and Trish tonight to see A Beautiful Mind and then we'll probably head out to dinner somewhere. I haven't seen Trish since January, so it'll be good to see her again. Plus, she has my birthday present. ;-)

Anyway, it's starting out to be a nice weekend, so I hope everyone else has a great Friday night!

A Better Day

After staying at work so late last night, today has been a much better day, though I am bone tired. I got some good news regarding something I'd been waiting to hear about (let's just say it impacts my spending money), and am pretty pleased. The client is really happy with her launch, so that's always a plus. It's been a lot less hectic today and I am very glad. Now I just need a nap.

I dreamt last night that I was working on the new client that I inherited on Thursday. In my dream I was answering e-mails, creating project trackers for new issues that numbered approximately 150, and taking long phone calls. I feel exhausted. Don't I get the day off since I worked all night?

Leather Care Tips

Well, I just completely fucked up my birthday evening. Like an idiot (because I am notoriously clumsy about spilling and things of that nature) I decided to do my work on the new leather furniture that we bought in January. I, of course, got a pen mark on the couch. I ran to the computer to look up removal tips, but before I could tell Steven what to use, he'd decided to try finger nail polish remover. It did remove the ink, but it also removed the color from the leather. Now we have a discolored spot on the couch. I've been so careful about not getting anything on the couch and I should have known it was a dumb idea to get on the couch with a pen. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Tomorrow I guess we'll have to see what a leather care place can suggest about fixing the discoloration. Fuck. And that furniture was so expensive, too. :-(

Btw, if you get ink on leather, try hair spray or a pencil eraser. It will supposedly bring the ink right out without damaging the leather.

Weekend Break

As some of you may (or may not have) noticed, I took the weekend off from blogging. My site (along with a couple of others) went down Friday night and by the time it came up on Saturday, I'd already spent a solid day playing http://www.neuroticfishbowl.com/archives/003109.htmldominos at Pogo.com, reading (I've already finished Seven Up by Janet Evanovich), and conquering the world on Civilization: Call To Power, and drinking blenders full of raspberry piña coladas. In other words, I'd lost the ability to be coherent and blog at the same time. ;-) I am back now and plan on catching up on some blog reading and posting later today. Right now, though, I've got a big meeting to go to, so everyone enjoy their Monday morning (at least as much as it's possible to enjoy a Monday morning).

How To Make a Bibliophile Happy....

Buy her lots of book! I met my best friend Jeanna last night for dinner and she got me a bunch of books for my birthday. I got Songs of the Heart (A Flavia Modernes Greeting Book), History of Art, Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton, The Laughing Corpse by Laurell K. Hamilton, and Seven Up by Janet Evanovich. I've been dying to read the Janet Evanovich book since it came out, so I am extremely happy to have received it. From the things Jeanna's heard about the Laurell K. Hamilton books, I have a feeling they're going to be right up my alley. So, my dear Jeanna, thank you for the great birthday gift!

Changes

Lots of big changes in my workplace happened today. They'll ultimately be for the best, so they are good things, but it's a little rough on people right now. I must say, though, that I am glad I work at the place I do. The owner is such a great man. When he was young, he and his grandfather used to collect coins together. His grandfather passed away six months ago and my boss inherited the coin collection that they had built together. To show us how important we are to him and to the company, he gave us each a silver dollar from the collection. It is so amazing to have a boss that cares about you. I am glad I work where I do. As hokey as it is, I will treasure this coin and I appreciate and respect the man that gave it to me.

Back Pain Update

I called the doctor today to try and get some muscle relaxers or pain killers, but he won't prescribe them without seeing me first, so I go in tomorrow afternoon. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for next week so I'll just knock it out of the way tomorrow as well.

I feel much better today. Sore and achy, but nothing like the excruciating pain of yesterday. About two years ago Steven and I were wrestling on the couch (No, really. We were. Get your mind out of the gutter, you perv!) and I feel off. I fell on top of the huge portable phone striking my back, just above my hip. In doing so, I pinched a nerve. This pain is extremely similar to that, so I'm sure this is nothing more than a muscle/nerve issue. Catherine had suggested that it might be a kidney stone. Unfortunately, I got kidney stones right after I graduated from college (I had no insurance, having just gotten moved off of my parents' and it sucked massively!) and I'm positive this isn't that again.

Anyway, thank you all so much for your kind words and concern. :-) Hopefully I'll get some good medicine from the doctor and I'll be good as new soon.

OMG! The Pain!

I don't know what I did, but I have managed to pull a muscle in my back or pinch a nerve and I am in agony. I came home from the gym and noticed a couple of twinges which quickly intensified into screaming, sobbing pain. I tried walking around and working it out, but it didn't work. I ended up lying on my back on the couch weeping. Steven was about five minutes behind me so he came in right after the peak started. He saw me lying there and dropped his keys and wallet and ran to me. I managed to stutter out what was wrong and he got me some painkillers and juice and helped me into a hot bath. I'm telling you, at first I was convinced I was having a heart attack since it hurt so bad and was only on my left side. Earlier today I'd had some kind of painful twinges so I was worried that I'd missed the warning sign and was now in full attack. Silly fish. :-) For now, it's kind of a dull pain with occasional sharp spasms. I will be calling the doctor first thing in the morning to see if he can't get me some painkillers or something. Let's just hope it stays like this, more or less, for the rest of the night.

Update: Not long after I posted this I started feeling really sick to my stomach and very hot. I went into the living room and told Steven and lay down on the couch. He turned on the fan and was like, "Oh my god! You're really sweating!" I told him I was still hot and he touched my face and told me I was clammy. He helped me up the stairs and had me lay down on the bed. He turned on the fan and got me a cold compress. After a few minutes of that I got cold, so he came and covered me up and turned off the fan. I kind of dozed for a half hour and feel a little better, so I'm going to try and eat some soup. I wonder if maybe I have a virus of some sort. Whatever this is, it sucks.

Kind of Quiet Today

It's a little after five and I am bored. I do project management at a local web development company and ALL my projects are in the "please-send-me-your-content; please-answer-my-questions-so-we-can-move-forward; please-approve-the-work" phase so I don't have a lot to do (except wish evil thoughts on clients that ignore my e-mails). Maybe I'll go over to Victoria's Secret before hitting the gym and see if they have more stuff for me to throw my money away on. Maybe I should ask for gift certificates there for my birthday (now less than a week away). Anyway, I'd been kind of quiet today so I thought I'd ramble about nothing for a minute. :-)

Monday? You Sure?

The phone rang this morning about 7:45. Steven answered the phone so I groggily asked him who it was when he hung up. He said it was the air conditioner repair man (we've got a freon leak that needs to be repaired) saying he should be there by about 9:00. I mumbled that anyone calling this early on a Sunday should be shot. Steven replied, "It's not Sunday, it's Monday." My confused brain then did the math and remembered that, it was indeed, Monday. What a crappy way to start the day. I thought I was going to get to sleep in! Damn.

So with the coupon, the gift certificate, and the free shipping that they offer on orders over $99, I went and bought myself a little birthday gift. I'm getting: Nightmare at 20,000 Feet : Horror Stories by Richard Matheson, Winter's Heart (The Wheel of Time Series, Book 9) by Robert Jordan, The Birdcage on DVD, Dave on DVD, The America President on DVD, Say Anything... on DVD, The Terminator (Special Edition) on DVD, and Groundhog Day (Special Edition) on DVD. Ripping At the Speed of Light

It's Saturday and I haven't done much but rip CDs to our mp3 server at work so I can have my tunes in both places. I messed around with Oddsock's DoSomething Winamp Plug-in (it's supposed to generate an HTML playlist for your site so people can see what you're listening to) last night, but no luck with making it work yet. I think after I finish ripping files, I'll make some compilation CDs for the car. Nothing like having all your favorite tunes in one spot.

Back to the Land of the Living

Here's a little update on how the doctor's visit was:

I was a little nervous this morning once I got there, but not too anxious. They started the IV and wheeled me into the room and the whole time I'm thinking, "Shouldn't I be feeling drowsy by now? Why the hell isn't the medicine working?" They sprayed some stuff in my mouth that puts your mouth completely to sleep and tastes awful and then made me bite down on this plastic ring. It had a hole in the middle, so I guess it was to help guide the scope. I'm really starting to get anxious at this point because they're bringing equipment in, turning the monitors on that show what the camera is seeing, etc. My motto when it comes to medical procedures that are being done on me is, "Ignorance is bliss." I don't want to know a damn thing that you're getting ready to do to me. The nice nurse then comes in and says the magic words, "We're going to start your medicine now. This should make you sleepy. It will sting a bit." The last thing I remember is thinking, "That does hurt. Ow ow ow o...." and then I woke up as they were wheeling me out. Ah, the miracle of modern medicine!

I got home around 11:00 and did a few things like checking e-mail and making sure there were no work emergencies that needed to be handled and I went to sleep. I slept almost four hours, but I still feel a little tired. I'm developing a headache, too, which totally sucks. Anyone know if you can take Excedrin after an endoscopy?

They did find some minor gastritis, which is basically an inflammation of the stomach. They gave me some guidelines (don't eat before you go to bed, take your medicine, etc.), but none of it wasn't anything I expected. I believe they are doing a biopsy on their findings, so we'll see if that turns anything up. I go see my GP on the 21st and they want me to schedule a follow-up with the scope doctor (I just like calling him that) next month. I guess until then it's business as usual. Thanks to everyone who wished me well. I really do appreciate it! :-)

You Want To Stick That Where?

The doctor's office called today and confirmed my endoscopy procedure (basically they stick a scope with a camera in it down my throat) for tomorrow morning. I have to be there by 8:15. The procedure itself is only supposed to be about fifteen minutes or so, but I have no idea how long I will be there since they told me to "allow for a couple of hours." I'm hoping that the anesthia knocks me WAY out since I do not deal well with medical procedures. I'll probably be out for most of the day, but I may be back around in the afternoon. Wish me luck!

How Fragile They Now Seem...

Dawn saw five fire trucks in front of the Sears Tower today and immediately thought, "Now what?" Today as I was coming out of the gym (it was very cloudy out), I had similiar thoughts. I looked up to see a plane coming in low overhead. As I watched the plane break through the clouds I thought to myself, "They never used to look fragile. I never would have pictured them falling from the sky." I grew up in the flight path of Intercontinental Airport in Houston, so I've seen millions of planes, but they look so different now. I wonder how long it will be before we're able to look at them like we used to. Or if that will even be possible.

Ireland - An Islamic Country?

I happened to click on one of my BlogSnob links today because it was entitled Religion - All the thoughts left unsaid and I thought it sounded interesting. So I go visit his site and find this post (quoted from below):

To the best of my knowledge, there is no other terrorist group associated or affiliated with a major religion--nay for a few blow-up-abortion-doctor-people.
Now, I'm not forgetting about the crusades either...that was entirely our bad.

Now, the first thing I thought of when I read this is, "Um, ever hear of Ireland?" I didn't realize the IRA was Islamic, though I guess that could be what the I stands for. I'm not saying that a lot of terrorist activities aren't tied to Islamic organizations, but to say that all religions but Islam (with the exception of the crusades) have nothing to do with those kind of activities is completely wrong. In Ireland Catholics and Protestants are killing each other, not Muslims killing them. Religion is probably the biggest reason that people kill each other and I mean all people, not just Muslims. It just bugged me that he didn't have any place to leave comments and I couldn't just leave a little note saying, "Ireland - that's an Islamic country?".

What a Day!

After spending most of yesterday looking for images to make new skins and creating skin number four (it's now up and running in the skin selector, though it may get some more tweaking), I spent part of today messing around with CSS and trying to get the pear-flavored skin (number three) to look exactly how I want it. I finally get it right and upload the files, only to have them magically disappear on me. Christine got back from her meetings out of the office today to tell me that the pear skin is set up through MT so every time I made or changed a post, it reverted back to the old code. Doh! At least it is fixed now (though you get a tiny bit of sidescroll in 600x800 and it is not Netscape compatible).

I also had to leave work early today to go see the doctor. The good news is I don't have to have a colonoscopy, but the bad news is I do get to have an endoscopy to examine my esophagus bright and early Monday morning. I am very nervous about medical procedures, so we'll see how much of a nervous, thudding goat I can be by Monday. Blah. At least I got third in another Paradise Poker tournament, keeping my winning streak alive.

Pisces has a hard time getting out of bed and an even harder time getting motivated to start the day. Wherever your energy went doesn't really matter, because it's gone now. Cancel or reschedule all of your appointments if possible. If you can somehow convince others to carry things for a few days, you'll be free to drift. You don't have to be completely idle during this down time. Catch up on your reading or rent a movie you missed when it was in the theater.

I really have been dragging this week. Both yesterday and today it was all I could do to actually get out of bed and go to work. Must be the cosmic forces aligning against me. ;-) So, who volunteers to come do my work for me so I can go home? Anyone?

Feeling Good

I'm feeling good tonight. I got $70 for the jean study, got first place in another poker tournament at Paradise Poker, and it's basically Friday. :-) I hope everyone else is having a good night! For those that are interested in the survey, focus group, samples stuff that I do, I'll compile a list this weekend (hopefully) so you too can make your opinion count and get paid!

It's All in the Jeans, Baby!

I'm getting ready to leave work a little early today because I am participating in a focus group about jean trends and what I think is hot and what isn't. I absolutely love focus groups. I'm getting $70 to talk about what I want for two hours. You just can't beat that. :-) I am the queen of focus groups and surveys. I've won large drawings ($500 one time, $100 twice, and various $50 and $25 drawings) for surveys I've done and have been paid up to $125 to give someone my opinion. I love making my feelings known to companies who actually listen to what I have to say (at least one hopes they do since they're paying me!).

Happy Valentine's Day To Me!

My very best friend in the whole world, Jeanna, sent me the most beautiful card for Valentine's Day! It is completely gorgeous and I may try and see if I can make a skin with it. Thank you, Jeanna! You are so great!

Monday Already?

How can it be Monday already? Where does the weekend go? For the most part, I spent mine drinking raspberry pina coladas, going out to dinner Friday with Steven (Mexican food - yummy! For those in the Houston area, try Lupe Tortilla's. Delicious food and they just opened one on I-45 near Rankin), playing Civilization: Call To Power, online poker tournaments, going out to dinner with Steven, my brother, and his girlfriend, and catching up on all of episodes of The Practice that I tape on the FX channel every morning. In other words, a lazy weekend with lots of tv, video games, poker, good food, and raspberry pina coladas. :-)

Sad and Pathetic

This is sad and pathetic, but it's 4:00 in the afternoon and I'm just really getting out of bed. Of course, it was after 4:00 in the morning before we went to bed, but still. Last night we watched Rush Hour 2 and I just was not all that impressed. It started to get funny towards the end, but if that's the best you can say about a movie, that's not saying much.

Friday Night

It's Friday night, so that means I've had a blender full of pina coladas (raspberry flavored! Yummy!) and we're off to dinner. Everyone have a great Friday night!

Computer Files and Poker Tournaments

Finally got some much needed computer cleaning done last night. I got a new machine about a year ago, so everything I had went on to Zip drives - fonts, program installers, zip files, and pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. Last night I found about 200 pictures that I had been wondering about. Christine turned me onto using ACDSee for a picture viewer, so the next step is to sort them into albulms. I found pictures from some of my first dates with Steven, the first fish we owned (Rhett and Scarlett), and of some Vietnamese pot bellied pigs that someone dumped on my parents' street that roamed the neighborhood. I also played in one of Paradise Poker's tournaments and managed to catch runner-runner cards to win the whole thing and $25. Not much, but makes you feel good to win. :-)

Just one of those days...

I'm not sure if it's the dreary weather, the sick fish, or that it's Monday and the weekend's over, but I am definitely in a melancholy mood. All I want to do is go home and curl up in bed, but, since it’s Monday, tonight is dance class and I have to go to the gym before that. Damn. Why can’t it be Friday again?

T.G.I.F.

After a week filled with big client meetings and long workouts in the gym, I'm glad it's Friday. Of course, winning third place in a tournament at Paradise Poker, the blender full of pina coladas, the vanilla vodka shots, and the other things that make a Friday great might have a little to do with it. :-) Steven should be back with pizza soon, so I probably will be gone from the computer for the rest of the night. Everyone enjoy their weekend!

Rabbit Rabbit

Apparently, if you say "rabbit rabbit" as your first words at the beginning of each month, you get massive amounts of good luck. Even though today's the first and it's too late to say it in the morning, if you say "tibbar tibbar" when you go to sleep, you're still covered. What could it hurt, right? (Link courtesy of Michele)

Last Night

We had dance class last night until a little after nine (country and western - two step and polka), so by the time we got home, ate dinner, and played in a $6 poker tournament at Paradise Poker (placed third and won $10), I didn't really get to work on the site much. I have completed a "In the Fishbowl (People and Fish in my life)" page, so look for that as soon as Christine can get a chance to create it. I'm also in the middle of a page all about me which should be completed within the next day or so. I'm new to this, so I hope I don't bore anyone too much!

The Very First Entry!

Since I was out watching movies all day yesterday (Monsters, Inc. - loved it; The Lord of the Rings - didn't care for it), today is the first day that I'm going to have a chance to blog. It's also my boyfriend Steven's birthday (Happy birthday, honey!) and we have dance class tonight, so I'm not sure how much time I will have to work on the site, but I wanted to thank Christine for helping me set up the site, create the beautiful look, and, in a flash of brilliance and inspiration, come up with the perfect domain name! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I only hope that my blog will come to be as well read and as interesting as yours! I do plan on making all the requisite pages (about me, my life, my fish, etc.) soon, so check back and find out more about me.

Life is a Fishbowl

Kymberlie always has a lot to say, wonderful links to share, and stories that are simply hysterical. Now she has a place to put them all. You too can share in ...

The Neurotic Fishbowl that is Her Life.

Posted by Christine as a final test of the new design. Kymberlie will be here soon.
