Steven and Bella
This picture's up over at the Neurotic Fishbowl Moblog, but since it's my favorite picture of Steven and Bella together ever, I had to post here for everyone to see. How cute are they, huh?

What a great pic! Thanks for sharing. :)

Absolutely adorable! I especially love the shot of Bella with her head cocked to one side staring at you like you're nuts on the Moblog. Absolutely priceless! LOL! :)
Posted by Kathy at June 8, 2003 01:24 AM
they are too cute! look at bella's face, she looks like she is thinking really hard about something.
Posted by jane at June 8, 2003 09:26 AM

What a great picture! I love catching those moments.

Awwwww! What a sweet pea! She looks all lushy like my kitty! I just want to squeeze her!
Posted by Hunter at June 9, 2003 12:24 AM
They're both adorable - but that look on Bella's face is just PRICELESS!
I tried to moblog several times on Saturday, but it wouldn't "take". *sigh* I guess I should try again. I can't wait until I can moblog with MT or WordPress! (Mike's working on code for me! Yeah!)

Benefits and Lasagna
Steven and I spent most of the day at a charity benefit for one of his co-worker's husband. They found out last year that both she and him had Hepetitis C and just as they were getting done with the treatment for it, it was discovered that he had pancreatic cancer. The benefit was a lot of fun with ponies and horses for the kids to ride (see them over at the Neurotic Fishbowl Moblog) and they had a band, Victim, that played some real kick-ass music.
After that we headed off to Wal-Mart since Steven decided he wanted to make Emril's lasagna for dinner tonight. It's currently cooking away over in the kitchen and the whole house smells delicious. I love having a man that can cook!

Have you tried the Emril’s Kicked up garlic bread? Yummy! If you don't have the recipe let me know and I will send it over.

Thanks For the Book!
I received the book Neuromancer from Amazon.com this week.
Normally, me receiving a box from Amazon.com isn't a big thing since I order tons of stuff from there, but the difference this time was that it was a gift from my Wishlist and I have no idea who bought it for me!
The name on the receipt is Timothy Kiendl, so if it's you, please send me an e-mail so I can tell you thanks!

Mo' Photos in the Moblog
I put all the pictures up from my phone (at least the ones I like) over at the Neurotic Fishbowl Moblog. Got a few of the storm rolling in today that I'm particularly fond of.

Bingo!
I got a wild hair and decided to join BingoFun since they were doing such a good deal on matching deposits.
After playing a few games, I won a $1.00 tournament and bingoed for $60.98. Not bad after only a few games!
They actually play real cheap games ($0.10 and up) and have a double match going, so if you like bingo and decide to join, please put kymberlie down as your referer. Hope to see you there!

Sick Day
I went to bed last night around midnight only to actually fall asleep after 2:00. At 5:30 the phone rings, giving me a heart attack since no one calling at that time of the morning can have good news. I answer it, only to get hung up on. A massive thunderstorm then starts off so it's yet another hour or so before I can fall asleep.
Needless to say, when Steven tried to wake me up to go to work, I totally felt like shit. I had a headache, my eyes and teeth hurt, and I was still congested. I came downstairs, got on the Exchange server, e-mailed the boss to tell him I wouldn't be in, dealt with a few work issues, and popped an Ambien and headed back to bed.
I slept most of the day, but I'm still tired and grumpy. When I saw the doctor Monday about the Lexapro, he offered to give me an anti-biotic perscription if I felt worse by the end of the week, so I may give him a call tomorrow and take him up on it.
Damn summer colds!

Neurotic Fishbowl Moblog
While reading Christine's site, I noticed a link to BPC To Go Moblog.
Being the curious fish that I am, I went to check it out and was astonished to find a place that lets you post to a mini-blog right from your camera phone for free!
Of course, being the lemming that I am, I immediately set one up. You can now visit the Neurotic Fishbowl Moblog: The Neurotic Fishbowl as viewed through my phone. The little phone at the top is even the exact same one I have.
I will definitely be putting this little camera to use a lot more often now!

Very cool, it seems that you are enjoying your new phone cam.
Posted by Martie at June 3, 2003 10:25 PM
What a neat thing! My cell phone won't let me post to my blog. :pouts:
Posted by Hey Lisa at June 3, 2003 11:16 PM
Oh - how are you liking that phone? I looked at it, and considered getting it, but I was really worried that the round dial would be annoying and hard to dial. Also, it's wider than the phone pocket in my new purse - my new Sanyo 8100 fits in there perfectly!
Let me know if you need the web browser that I use or anything else for your phone - I have a lot of downloads and really cool sites!

You've been hit by a Random Guest Book Signing! Pass it on! (And no, I don't care for the new interface either.)

me too. not liking the blogshares layout at all...
Posted by spork at June 3, 2003 09:30 PM
Earlier when I saw your post I was confused because I hadn't seen the new one yet. Now I'm no longer confused and I'm not a big fan of the new interface either. I kind of liked that long page where I could see everything I needed to see at one glance.
Posted by Hey Lisa at June 3, 2003 11:15 PM
I don't like it either.

Whew!
I accidentally sat down at a $11 no-limit hold 'em tournament.
I usually play limit and there's a big difference between the two styles. I got pretty good at no-limit a few years ago, but now I never play so my immediate thought was, "Oh, shit!" as soon as I noticed.
Luckily, I squeaked into third place and made $10.

Just Thoughts
I think I've picked up the cold that Steven had last week. My head is starting to feel like it's going to explode and I'm sneezing like crazy.
I went to the doctor today to talk to him about Lexapro and how I feel on it. I told him I definitely feel much better (I no longer feel that there is a black hole just beyond my line of sight that is sucking me towards it. I actually feel good and hopeful, a nice change), but I am still pretty exhausted. He checked my blood pressure and it's normal, so he's sending me for bloodwork tomorrow morning. My mother is convinced I'm anemic, so I guess we'll find out if there's anything wrong with me.
Steven and I are trying to shopping for a flip-top poker table that doubles as a dinette set. There's one we both like by California House, but it's probably too big to fit in the condo and it's like $5,000 on sale. I'd really like to get it, but I'm not sure if it's in the cards. Pardon the pun.
I'm feeling worse, so I think it's time for me and the cat to go take a little nap while we wait for Steven to come home from work. Have a nice night, all.

dude, that's some serious poker playing to get one of those ... reminds me of a speakeasy in 1920s chicago. you can flip it back over just before the cops break down your door.
"this is a raid!"
