The Neurotic Fishbowl Archives by Category: Quizzy Stuff
Pure Geek
I took the Geek, Nerd, or Dork test and I'm not surprised at the finding.
Pure Geek
43 % Nerd, 78% Geek, 39% Dork
For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Geek, earning you the title of: Pure Geek.
It's not that you're a school junkie, like the nerd, and you don't really stand out in a crowd, like the dork, you just have some interests that aren't quite mainstream. Perhaps it's anime, perhaps it's computers, perhaps it's bottlecaps, perhaps it's all of those and more. Your interests take you to events and gatherings that are filled with people you find unusual and beyond-the-pale, but you don't quite consider yourself "of that crowd."

After the whole kidney stone thing, I'm sure you are radioactive! Why do you think I wasn't in there holding your hair while you puked? Oh wait - I know why. I was busy committing fraud as I called the insurance company and claimed to be you... ;)
(Damn, probably shouldn't have admitted about the hair. You probably didn't remember that. But I sent my groom wit you to the ER and my Dad to pick you up the next morning, so I think I still get "great friend bonus points!")

Window Shopping
I took the OK!Cupid Test to find out my love personality. It was really accurate, especially the part about me obsessing over a guy that I've just met (What? Me? Obsess? Never!).
I am The Window Shopper! Random Gentle Love Dreamer (RGLDf)
Loving, hopeful, open. Likely to carry on an romance from afar. You are The Window Shopper.
You take love as opportunities come, which can lead to a high-anxiety, but high-flying romantic life. You're a genuinely sweet person, not saccharine at all, so it's likely that the relationships you have had and will have will be happy ones. You've had a fair amount of love experience for your age, and there'll be much more to come.
Part of why we know this is that, of all female types, you are the most prone to sudden, ferocious crushes. Your results indicate that you're especially capable of obsessing over a guy you just met. Obviously, passion like this makes for an intense existence. It can also make for soul-destroying letdowns.
Your ideal match is someone who'll love you back with equal fire, and someone you've grown to love slowly. A self-involved or pessimistic man is especially bad. Though you're drawn to them, avoid artists at all costs.
Your exact opposite: The Stiletto (Deliberate Brutal Sex Master)
BEWARE: The Hornivore
CONSIDER: The Gentleman, The Loverboy

The Dr. Phil Test
I don't watch Dr. Phil, but I found the Dr. Phil Test to be pretty accurate.
Your total score is 40
Interpretation of Results
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

Master Grammarians Unite
I did almost major in English after all...
You are the grammar Fuhrer. All bow to your authority. You will crush all the inferior people under the soles of your jackboots, and any who question your motives will be eliminated. Your punishment is being the bane of every other person's existence, because you're constantly contradicting stupidity. Everyone will be gunning for you. Your dreams of a master race of spellers and grammarians frighten the masses. You must always watch your back. If only your power could be used for good instead of evil.

I took the quiz and learned that I too am a liguistic Fuhrer. But then, after seeing everyone's comments, I took it again chosing the wrong answers and was given the results of:
"You are a grammar Failure. You will be the first to be thrown in the ovens. The world is a better place without you."
Yikes! I wonder if Mel Brooks took this exam.

A Well-Beloved Lunatic
Which Historical Lunatic Are You?
From the fecund loins of Rum and Monkey.
A fine, amiable and dreamy young man, skilled in horsemanship and archery, you were also from a long line of dribbling madmen. King at 12 and quickly married to your sweetheart, Bavarian Princess Isabeau, you enjoyed many happy months together before either of you could speak anything of the other's language. However, after illness you became a tad unstable. When a raving lunatic ran up to your entourage spouting an incoherent prophecy of doom, you were unsettled enough to slaughter four of your best men when a page dropped a lance. Your hair and nails fell out. At a royal masquerade, you and your courtiers dressed as wild men, ending in tragedy when four of them accidentally caught fire and burned to death. You were saved by the timely intervention of the Duchess of Berry's underskirts.
This brought on another bout of sickness, which surgeons countered by drilling holes in your skull. The following months saw you suffer an exorcism, beg your friends to kill you, go into hyperactive fits of gaiety, run through your rooms to the point of exhaustion, hide from imaginary assassins, claim your name was Georges, deny that you were King and fail to recognise your family. You smashed furniture and wet yourself at regular intervals. Passing briefly into erratic genius, you believed yourself to be made of glass and demanded iron rods in your attire to prevent you breaking.
In 1405 you stopped bathing, shaving or changing your clothes. This went on until several men were hired to blacken their faces, hide, jump out and shout "boo!", upon which you resumed basic hygiene. Despite this, your wife continued sleeping with you until 1407, when she hired a young beauty, Odette de Champdivers, to take her place. Isabeau then consoled herself, as it were, with your brother. Her lovers followed thick and fast while you became a pawn of your court, until you had her latest beau strangled and drowned.
A severe fever was fended off with oranges and pomegranates in vast quantities, but you succumbed again in 1422 and died. Your disease was most likely hereditary. Unfortunately, you had anywhere up to eleven children, who variously went on to develop capriciousness, great cruelty, insecurity, paranoia, revulsion towards food and, in one case, a phobia of bridges.

Name Numerology
Since I've got my real name (Kimberly) and my name as I've been spelling it for the last fifteen years or so (Kymberlie), I thought I'd see what the different name numerologies mean for me.
Kymberlie:
Your Heart Number is 9
Gives you a strong desire to help and to serve others. Generous and compassionate, you would probably make a good teacher or care-giver. Your desire to aid other people is your paramount concern.
Your Personality Number is 5
Makes you a rather fun and care-free individual whose company other people find inspiring and delightful. You're a bit of a free spirit, love variety, and have a strong desire to live life to the fullest.
Your Image Number is 5
And you may appear to be many things to many people. Restless and curious, you crave variety and are always on the move. You love adventure and are eager to explore everything you possibly can.
Kimberly:
Your Heart Number is 4
You have a strong desire for a sense of security in life. Home, family and tradition are all very important to you. You need a job that you can depend on, and you aren't afraid of a little hard work.
Your Personality Number is 5
Makes you a rather fun and care-free individual whose company other people find inspiring and delightful. You're a bit of a free spirit, love variety, and have a strong desire to live life to the fullest.
Your Image Number is 9
Might make you appear to be a bit of an idealist. Generous, kind and compassionate, your concern is primarily for others, not yourself. And this can cause you to be a bit self-sacrificing at times.
I would say that the Heart Number of 9, the Personality Number of 5, and the Image Number of 9 would be a combination more like me. Lately, though, I've been less compassionate than I've used to be. Maybe I'll try and work on that this year.

Left Liberal
I finally got around to taking The World's Smallest Political Quiz that Jason had mentioned and my results were basically the same as the one I got at the Political Compass and also pretty much spot on. My results were:
Your Personal Self-Government Score is 90%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 40%.
Your political philosophy is left-liberal.
Left-Liberals prefer self-government in personal matters and central decision-making on economics. They want government to serve the disadvantaged in the name of fairness. Leftists tolerate social diversity, but work for economic equality.

| WATER OF WATER. Pretty lady! Fair and gentle, your empathy attracts others to you. Possibly psychic, you are pure emotion and are more likely to act on feeling rather than practical thought or logic. You think that's just fine because imagination is important. You are the Whore of Babylon with her cup of abominable things, the Medium of Endor and in the mundane world you usually make a good wife and mother. I think the test is a bit flawed. Some of the questions give clear facts- like that one party systems speed up decsion maikg. You know that agreeing will portray you as authoritarian- even if you're not, but you also know it's a fact, whether or not pne party systems are good.

Neutral Good Elf Bard Thief
If I was a Dungeons & Dragons character, these would be my attributes:
I Am A: Neutral Good Elf Bard Thief
Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.
Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.
Primary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.
Secondary Class:
Thieves are the most roguish of the classes. They are sneaky and nimble-fingered, and have skills with traps and locks. While not all use these skills for burglary, that is a common occupation of this class.
Deity:
Oghma is the Neutral Good god of knowledge and invention. He is also known as the Binder of What is Known, and is the Patron of Bards. His followers believe that knowledge reigns supreme, and is the basis for everything else that is done. They wear white shirts and pants, with a black and gold braided vest, and a small, box-like hat. All priests of Oghma are known as Loremasters. Oghma's symbol is a scroll.

Five Flavors
Robyn took the "What Ice Cream Flavor Are You?" quiz, so of course I had to follow suit and see what flavor I was.
You scored 44.4% Chocolate
If you're a Chocolate ice cream type, you are flirtatious, charming and even a little dramatic -- and you're also in good company: Chocolate is the second most popular ice cream flavor! You're an intuitive and sensitive person who puts a high value on family, relationships and romance. But your instincts can sometimes steer you wrong: You can be easily influenced in directions that you know aren't the best for you, and you have a tendency toward self-indulgence. Still, your generosity, your liveliness and your trusting nature have earned you many admirers and friends. Chocolate types are compatible with reliable Butter Pecans and high-focus, high-energy Chocolate Chips.
You scored 22.2% Strawberry
Strawberries are naturally loyal, honest and trustworthy. If you're one of many Strawberry lovers (it's tied with Butter Pecan as the third most popular flavor), you probably have a devoted circle of friends who rely on you for the right answer to any moral dilemma. Like Chocolate Chips, you set high standards for yourself, but you are somewhat shy and reserved. And you don't like to admit it, but you're also a tad pessimistic. Maybe you're just disappointed that no one can live up to your own responsibility and forthrightness. Strawberry types do well with optimistic, outgoing Chocolate Chips.
You scored 11.1% Chocolate Chip
If you're a Chocolate Chip lover, you're a creative force to be reckoned with (this also applies to lovers of Cookie Dough, Mint Chip, Rocky Road and other "chunky" ice creams). You've got a competitive streak a mile wide, but it brings out the best in you by forcing you to live up to your own demanding standards. You can be rather unforgiving at times with those who don't share your vision and drive, but friends value your magnetism, charm and originality. Chocolate Chips are best off with high-achieving Butter Pecans and empathetic, insightful Chocolates.
You scored 11.1% Vanilla
Contrary to what you may expect, Vanilla types aren't bland or boring. Vanilla is far and away the most popular ice cream flavor, and the Vanilla type is gregarious, impulsive, fun loving and expressive. In fact, you probably have a hard time making up your mind -- Vanillas are known for never saying no, even when they probably should. The Vanilla lover takes a romantic, hopeful view of life: Live for the moment, and everything will work out fine. And Vanilla types are happiest with their own kind -- only someone equally spontaneous and energetic will do.
You scored 11.1% Butter Pecan
Butter Pecan is tied with Strawberry for the third most popular flavor, and organized, put-together, earthy Butter Pecan types are valued for their fairness, efficiency and naturalness. You won't see a Butter Pecan lover putting on airs. In fact, it can be hard for no-nonsense Butter Pecans to express themselves at all -- even though they're privately quite sympathetic and observant. As a Butter Pecan lover, you like to plan ahead and take charge, which means you're often over-committed. Like Vanillas, Butter Pecans are most compatible with their own kind -- other Butter Pecan lovers who appreciate hard work and good sense.

Ya, Anni may be whiney, but I am enjoying the storyline. Thus I enjoyed Episode 2. I didn't enjoy Episode 1, too much Jaja... it just ruined it for me. I'm not terribly fond of the frist movies either... the only one I enjoy watching (again) is Return of the Jedi. I can't help it I'm a sucker for the lusty stuff (loved Lea and Han the best), so I'm getting into Padamin & Anni's storyline. I kinda feel sorry for whiney boy... but I agree he should have been "handled" or "trained" by a stronger hand than OBI WAN... He needed to be taught more respect, patience and selflessness. Ah, but isn't that the whole point of the story! If only... if only... it shows the total falibility of mortal kind.

The Perfect Girl
This is very much me.
You have high standards for yourself, and try desperately to live up to them. But when you are unable to reach those goals, you fall into a deep depression. People see you as a brilliant person, yet inside, you are full of self-doubt and fear of failure. You need to set more reasonable goals.

I Have (INTJ) Personality, Baby!
I took the BLOGinality test to determine my weblogger personality type that the ever-talented Kristine created and these were the results:
My Bloginality is INTJ!!!
As an INTJ, you are Introverted, iNtuitive, Thinking, Judging. This makes your primary focus on Introverted Thinking with an Extraverted Intution.
This is defined as a NT personality, which is part of Carl Jung's Rational (Knowledge Seeking) type, and more specifically the Mastermind or Scientist.
You aren't as openly affectionate as some of you NT counterparts, and this may cause other bloggers to assume you aren't as friendly. Your ideas and actual applications for these ideas are brilliant, however, and you might be more likely to create something masterful on your journal.

I ended up being a Time Mage. Which was pretty accurate to my personality. My Vice is being distant,detatched... Yep, I can be like that... especially when things get emotionally rough. Unless, it directly involves my own problems with Husband or daughter relationships. Then I tend to be a little overly involved and over-reactive. But, that has only come to pass since I got married last year and gained a stepdaughter to boot.

I'm a Pioneer
I used the Dewey Color System to see what my preference for certain colors say about my personality and here are the results:
BLUE PURPLE BLACK: You're a Pioneer
You think about why people do what they do. By understanding the motivation of others, you seek to create a better world. Changing the world around you through personal achievements is your everyday challenge.
The passionate you is a strong-willed, reflective strategist. You listen to learn why something was done before you act. Others turn you on when they challenge you. You can see all the possibilities.
The centered you can see how to direct your life toward a greater inner peace. You are able to discern exactly what you need. When all is quiet within you recognize just what you want.
The emotional you needs to feel grounded. Reality can be disappointing. Accept each situation's truth and each person's motivation before you act. Ensure that your empowering determination is focused on agendas that can be accomplished.
This seems fairly accurate. I was, after all, a psychology major, so it's not surprising that I think about why people do what they do. I'm also a strong believer that by understanding what makes people tick we can try and make the world a better place. My personal philosophy has always been that we are here to make the world better for others. I love a challenge as well and are happiest at work when I have lots of things to do, things that are challenging and not routine. I'm not sure if I really can see a greater inner peace, but I like to think that I have a fairly good handle on what I want to acheive and how to get it.

Which Colossal Death Robot Are You?
In bars frequented by colossal death robots, you're always the quiet guy at the back who no-one ever bothers. And for good reason. You've fought in several nuclear wars, could beat the sun in a staring match, and have a chin larger than many articles of furniture. Morals are not a concept you understand, but strangely enough, nobody ever questions your judgement. Usually because they're dead. Even Judge Dredd wets himself when you turn up. Grrrr.

For some reason, this site had me pegged as Al Gore. Weird. I'm not aware that Al Gore had been programmed to kill.

Which Tag Are You?
I love this one. It completely describes me. And what's cooler than being an HREF tag?
You're the HREF tag - you need someone to lean on and take care of you. You can be shy but you shine in difficult situations.

Quick! Where's My Towel?
These have got to be the funniest books ever written. I remember five years ago or so I was rereading them while waiting on getting my tires rotated (No, really! My tires! Pervert!) and giggling out loud while reading and getting funny looks from people. But now it's all worth it because I am....

Truth! Freedom! Beauty! Love!
You are Christian, the penniless poet. You believe in truth, freedom, and beauty; and above all things, you believe in love. You're sensitive and emotional, but your heart is strong.

My Dragon Color
A BLUE Dragon Lies Beneath!
I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a Blue Dragon on the inside. If there ever was a draconic example of a supple attitude, my Inner Dragon is it. Blues are the Water Elemental dragon - typified by their Steam breath weapon. Pretty creative, huh? It goes right along with my Inner Dragon's tendency to maim, but not destroy. Much like my native oceans and rivers will deform the rock over time, eventually wearing it away to nothing.
Humans shouldn't make the mistake of thinking I'm weak, however. After all I'm a good 30 feet in length and have a penchant for materializing out of any body of water, no matter how small. I also enjoy communicating with aquatic life-forms, hunting in totally inhospitable terrain (i.e. 3000 feet below the waves), and using my fluid nature to my advantage. My enemies probably won't even see me approach in the first place. My favorable attributes are the sunset, Autumn, water, compassion, intuition, and calmness. Naturally, I pity the fool who'd try and prove that calmness part, he'd probably wind up being scalded. *small grin*

I AM Elizabeth Bathory!
This test was just too good to pass up:
Which Evil Criminal are You?
Hailing from sunny Transylvania, your first blood-related incident was when you stabbed a servant girl in the face with a pair of scissors for underperforming. Some of the red spray landed on your hands, and as you washed it off, you noticed that it left your skin fresh and young looking. From then on you were convinced that the blood of young girls was the secret to eternal youth.
Rather than killing girls outright by stabbing them or slitting their throats, you enjoy torturing them for weeks on end by pricking them with needles or prodding with sharp spikes - all to bathe in their blood. You've killed over six hundred women, all without raising a peep from the authorities.

I was Bathory too. I figure getting assigned the most vicious and insane of the possible choices is the payback for my childhood obsession with the history of torture. Yuck.

Hello lizzi was a well known bisexual who liked large breasted young girls.Inthe dead of winter she would have naked girls stand outside her window will water was poured over them till they froze.SHe would admire her ice statues for hours.Girls in the teens would be forced to strip nakedin front of male serfs.
Posted by Ficzko at March 13, 2003 09:20 PM
She had a 12 yearold striped naked put in a small cage and pulled up into dozens of short spikes when she tried to avoid them Ficko Lizs dwarf manuvered the ropes so the girl was torn to pieces. Liz first learned of her kink when visiting her lesbian aunt Karla Bathory. There during frequent orgies she met a witch Dorothea Szantes. Lizs husband Ferenc's favorite torture was stripping a young girl naked covering her with honey or just her Genitals and leaving her tied up next to the estates Behives They called this the honey treatment
Posted by Hitler at March 13, 2003 09:36 PM
Once when sick she had her which hold a girl down then she bit the girls cheek then ripped out a piece of the girls shoulder then went to devour her breasts at first they took only virgin peasant girls but after Darvulia her lover died she found Erzsi Majorova who told lizzi virginal victems of noble birth were required to stay young. when liz was arrested with her cohorts. they found one dead girl drained of blood a bowl beside her. Undr the castle they found 50 corpses along with unknown number of other girls imprisoned in the dongeon pierced but alive.... THUS ENDS THE HISTORY LESSON Death in Vegas.
Posted by Manson Hitler at March 13, 2003 09:57 PM
Well apparently I am one of the most notorious murderers of all time. One that got a rather light treatment from the authorities due to my "noble" status. Bloodthirsy, rich, insane, kinky and a babe. What's not to like about me. Yikes!

Tuesday's Child Is...
In honor of today being Tuesday...
What day are you?
Of course, whenever I hear "Tuesday's child is full of grace," I immediately think, "My ass!" I am constantly spilling things and I must admit the big reason I don't like stairs is because I have fallen down a few flights of them in my time. Does anyone's day truly reflect their personality?
Note: After looking my boyfriend up, it says he was born on a Saturday ("Saturday's Child works hard for a living"). His reflects him pretty well.

I've always loved this poem as a child... I'm a Thursday's child who has "far to go"...
Posted by cybertoad at February 27, 2002 05:43 PM
I don't really think that the rhyme is actually about having been born on a specific day of the week... Suppose that Monday is symbolic for early childhood, Tuesday for teenager, etcetera.
Saturday's Child would then be trying hard to keep alive. And Sunday's Child?
Oh well, I don't know...

What Spirit Are You?
I'm a Wind Spirit!
Thought above feeling and mind over matter are your mottos. Others come to you for advice and guidance. Some see you as introverted and snobbish, but they are merely jealous of your common sense knack to think things through. Don't be afraid to listen to your heart though.
Don't really think this one is very me. People do come for me for advice, but I definitely put feelings in front of thought and I don't think I have all that much common sense. Oh, well. The image is the prettiest of the four!
