Why Geeks and Nerds Are Worth It...
Fifteen reasons why it's better to date a geek or a nerd.
11. His friends aren't jerks. I can't stress this enough. You'll more likely get "Omg! A GIRL!! Can I see?!" than "Hey hot stuff back that ass up here and let me get some grub on..." They're awkward geeks too and will, 9 times out of 10, treat you with the utmost respect and, more than likely, a note of awe. A cute girl picked one of their clan to date? It could happen to them! Hope! Drag some of your single girlfriends over, open up a pack of Mt. Dew, crack open the DnD set and get working. Nothing impresses geek guys more than a girl who can hack-n-slash (well ok maybe if she can code... a geek can dream).

.: katie said on May 1, 2005 02:17 PM :: link it :.Having been ecstatically married to a geek of my own for over 4 years now, I can add an additional reason to your list: they make great husbands. :)
.: Shaula Evans said on May 5, 2005 12:04 AM :: link it :.Man. How sad am I that I can't even get a geek to date me.
Maybe it's because I have yet to see all the Star Wars movies?
But I would so totally date one!
.: debutaunt said on May 11, 2005 02:36 PM :: link it :.I object to the food point. I quite like good food and am pretty sick of pizza (never was a fan of Mt. Dew). But, if the girl in my life doesn't like to cook, I have been single for 23 years and have learned to be quite handy with a skillet. Plus, there's a cooking for engineers website.
Great list. :)
