Ask and Ye Shall Receive

This evening, I was thinking about how wonderful and how much easier it would make my life if the post office was 24/7. After all, I still need to mail Burn It CDs to all of these people (if your name is on there, feel free to send me your address again) and Marie (I know. They sould have gone out long ago. I suck.) plus I have other stuff I need to get out.

Tomorrow just happens to be both Tiara Happy Hour and the monthly Geek Gathering so I decided I would make a bunch of copies of my Burn It CDs and give them out to whoever wanted them. I'd stopped because I'm pretty sure everyone at the THHs have them all by now, but new people are around, so it's time to pass some more out.

I'd just started printing labels when I ran out of ink, so I quickly took off to the local Wal-Mart (where else can you get ink at 11:00 at night?) to pick some up.

I was standing in line, getting ready to check out and listening to the people in front of me talking to the cashier about how they couldn't believe that the bank inside was open. The cashier remarked that it was 24/7, just like the post office. I interrupted, to make sure I'd heard right, and it turns out that the Wal-Mart near my house does indeed have an always open post office.

Just in case that was one of my wishes coming true by finding a genie or something, for my next wish I'd like to win the lottery and then I'd like to meet a wonderful, handsome boy who falls deeply in love with me and whom I adore.

"to make sure I’d hurt right" ... do you still hurt? ;)

You're not that far from the 24/7 giant major post office at the airport, you know. So that is always an option! Mail goes out from there constantly!
