Five Questions: The Meme
The other day Wendy, my birthday twin, participated in this meme where you get asked five questions and then you ask someone else five questions.
Here are mine:
1. Someone just gave you a round trip ticket anywhere in the world. Where ya gonna go? I am so going to Italy. I've always wanted to go there and I will see The Vatican before I die.
2. Which current reality show is one you'd fill out an application for? The Amazing Race. You get to travel, the challenges aren't super difficult like Survivor, and I like to think I'm smarter than most of those people on there and could manage to get out of a city in two hours (unlike Susan and Patrick on an episode a couple of weeks ago) even with my horrible sense of direction.
3. When you meet new people do you ever Google them to see what you can find? I think I did once, but for the most part, no. If they have a blog, though, I totally visit.
4. Have you ever actually stolen or wanted to steal a pair of bowling shoes? When I was a teenager, I was on a bowling league, and I had my own fancy light blue shoes so I didn't have to steal any.
5. Can you paint with all the colors of the wind? Of course.
Now it's your turn. Follow the rules for your own mini-interview.
THE RULES
1. Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3. You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4. You'll include this explanation.
5. You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
$blogid = "1"; //replace this with the blog_id of your blog $entry_id = "3040"; $pingcount = mysql_query("SELECT p.tbping_blog_id, t.trackback_entry_id FROM mt_tbping p, mt_trackback t WHERE (p.tbping_blog_id = $blogid) and (t.trackback_entry_id = $entry_id) and (t.trackback_id = p.tbping_tb_id)"); $count = mysql_num_rows($pingcount); echo ""; echo "Trackbacks on this post: ", $count, ""; $pingarray = "SELECT p.tbping_source_url, p.tbping_blog_name, p.tbping_created_on, p.tbping_excerpt, p.tbping_tb_id, t.trackback_id, t.trackback_entry_id FROM mt_tbping p, mt_trackback t WHERE (p.tbping_blog_id = $blogid) and (t.trackback_entry_id = $entry_id) and (t.trackback_id = p.tbping_tb_id)"; $resultping = mysql_query($pingarray) or die (mysql_error()); while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($resultping)) { //set up the variables being used - the date can be configured below $url = ($row['tbping_source_url']); $blog = ($row['tbping_blog_name']); $date = date("F d, Y g:i A", strtotime($row['tbping_created_on'])); $excerpt = ($row['tbping_excerpt']); echo "
