Dance With Me
I've got the WinAmp on random (as usual) and Breathe's "How Can I Fall?" came on.
I was instantly transported to my freshman year in high school. We were on a band trip in Corpus Christi having our annual banquet. There was this cute tuba player Doug Ball that I had a crush on (honestly, though, I had a crush on a lot of guys. I was a bit boy crazy) and I was so happy when he asked me to dance. Ever since "How Can I Fall?" has always made me think of high school.
Anyone else remember the first song they slow danced to?

Grade 8, end of year dance.
whoa, Ange. freaky. I think that was mine too. except it was a "couple skate" at the local skating rink. that was the night of my first kiss too, which was some Puerto Rican that reeked of Old Spice, shoving his tongue down my throat. not terribly pleasant!
