Casa dela Big Pink Cookie

Last night, I called Christine to see what she was up to. She was out running errands, but readily agreed to me coming over to see her new house (which is just gorgeous and really huge, so I think I'll be moving in with her and Mike soon). I met her up at Best Buy and then we trekked over to Wal-Mart so she could get some plants and I could get some pantyhose. Of course, we both spent about $80 a piece, but who can go to Wal-Mart and only buy one thing?

We used to go to Wal-Mart a lot on our lunch breaks when we worked together, but we haven't shopped there together in about a year. Needless to say, we went through most of the store and had a good time shopping. We saw maroon bluebonnets (Who even knew there was such a thing? Of course, it immediately made me think of Mac), scary lingerie sets, and I found a really cute hat that I didn't buy since I couldn't figure out where the hell I could actually wear it.

While wandering past the games section, we saw the Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture DVD Game and decided that two people would be the perfect number for a game, so Christine threw it in the cart and we were off to her house.

She'd also stopped at the liquor store before I came over to buy margarita mix, salt, and tequila (grand total - $77), so after picking up some food at Sonic, it was time to make some margaritas. We ate and drank, watched some tv, and then it was Trivial Pursuit time. Since I am a fount of useless information, it came as no surprise to me that I won both games.

Turns out that Christine has the original Trivial Pursuit game in the blue box (I do too - somewhere) so I've challenged her to an original TP grudge match at some point. I rock at that game.

I finally got home at about 3:30 this morning, but the late night (and face it, I would have just been sitting up playing on the computer anyway) was well-worth it. Good times.

No margarita mix in those margaritas, baby! Gooooood tequila, Cointreau, and limeaid. Yum!!!

Thanks for coming over - you need to do that a lot more often! And we'll have new furniture next week!
