Spooky

I've had about $200 worth of Amazon gift certificates just sitting around, so I figured I'd get myself a nice birthday gift (my birthday is only a week away. I'm going to be twenty-nine, the last year to be a 20-something. Very strange feeling). I ordered Crossed Bones by Carolyn Haines (excellent book, I just finished it this afternoon; review to show up on BiblioBlog later), The Journals of Eleanor Druse: My Investigation of the Kingdom Hospital Incident, Tales of a Librarian: A Tori Amos Collection with bonus DVD, Everquest: Gates of Discord Expansion Pack, EverQuest: Lost Dungeons of Norrath Expansion Pack, and The Mothman Prophecies soundtrack.

I've been listening to The Mothman Prophecies soundtrack almost non-stop since I've gotten it because it is simply that good. However, it's beginning to freak me out. The music is very creepy (especially the second CD consisting of the movie's score) and listening to it alone, especially at night, makes me think back to how much the movie freaked me out and then I start to scare myself (just a little bit, though; I'm not that big a wuss).

Anyway, I guess there's no real point to this rambling post, but has any piece of music or CD done the same to you? Or am I really a wuss?

I cannot listen to "Tubular Bells" without getting a chill down my neck. But then that's probably the case for just about anyone who's seen "The Exorcist."

BTW, Kymberlie, happy-almost-birthday! I turn 42 on the 19th. Now THAT'S scary!!
