FeedReader

I'd been looking for some kind of feed reader to stay on top of my blog reading when Dave happened to mention one in Robyn's comments called FeedReader.

While the name may not be that original, the program seems like a pretty good one, especially considering it's free. Almost everyone on my Blogroll had an XML feed, so I was able to get most of my reads added pretty quick.

If you're looking for a reader, this one seems like a good one. Anyone happen to know if there's a way to make it autoupdate, though?

I'm going to have to look into that one. Aside from the plugin for Trillian Pro that I have that reads them, I don't have one, and have been looking.

See, I don't really like the notion of having to have my IM program running just to keep updated.

Thanks for the suggestion!

My husband installed NewsWire Lite for me (for OS X). I don't use it much, but since I've been gone to SXSW it will be a good way for me to get caught up.

My personal favorite is Newz Crawler. It's programmed by a group of Russians and their code is usually pretty tight. It's a little pricey, but has great features. Best thing it does is highlights those blogs with new entries after you do an update.

ditto to Jason's recommendation. Lisa (unix gal) pointed it out to GeekGrrl and me and I'm loving it! :) You should download a trial :)
