Messenger Pop-Ups

Lately I have been inundated with pop-up windows sent through the built in messenger service in Windows. I get more and more pissed every time I see one, so I did a quick Google search which returned an article that shows, in a few simple steps, how to disable them. I offer it here to help you rid the world of evil messenger pop-ups: Block Webpopup Spam Advertisements aka Messenger Spam.

I get attacked by evil pop-ups when I open a link from my sidebar. I don't know what to do about it... :-P Really annoying. I will try that URL to see if I can fix it.

Thank you! Thank you! Those irritating are really intrusive! I'm passing this link on. BTW, I've only been blogging for a few months but I dig on your site. It's one of my favorites.

I use Trillian for Instant Messaging. It connects to MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, and ICQ all at the same time so I can chat w/ anyone on any network. It's great and it's free: http://www.trillian.cc

I use Messenger Blocker from http://www.how2stop.com

Its pretty inexpensive at $12.95 and was just what a computer challenged guy like me needed. Just a single button click and im rid of these popups at last.
Thumbs up from me!!
