Stats? We Don't Need No Stinkin' Stats!
I pulled up my eXTReMe Tracking stats to take a look at my hits for today and it shows I've only had 16 hits today and 23 on yesterday. I know I had about 150 hits yesterday and about 80 before lunch today, so these numbers are skewed. I checked the stats for Picture Fish and they look fine. Anybody else noticed anything wonky?

My ET stats were a little off today. It said 350 at noon and then 350 about an hour later, yet the referrals had changed to show at least 20 more. And then it went up to 400 twenty minutes later.
I only trust my host for my real stats. They're just kinda hard to decipher.

.: erica said on September 6, 2002 07:19 PM :: link it :.AOL has changed something with their cache servers that is seriously screwing up tracking stuff. I run my own tracking thing and it appears as if I get several different people coming to my site at the same time from different AOL proxy servers, but I can tell from the user agent, resolution, timing, and other stats that it's the same person. Throwing my stats off too.
