Cooking In The Box
More cooking items in today's Amazon.com Gold Box Offers. All I can guess is that their cooking department isn't selling all that much stuff so they're trying to get rid of it through this offers.
.: Sassafras Wood Pizza/Bread Peel: if we didn't already have one of these, I might be tempted to get this. Steven makes homemade pizzas and this is an essential piece of hardware to get the pizza to come out right.
.: Polder Triple Kitchen Timer/Clock: when I won my Belgian waffle maker back in April, it came with a kitchen timer which Steven has used yet, so don't need this item.
.: Libbey Flare 16-Piece Beverage Glass Set, Cobalt Blue: nice looking glasses, but just don't need them.
.: West Bend 79586 6-Quart Capacity Electric Wok: I asked Steven and he said he'd never use a wok, so passing on this.
.: Hamilton Beach 22559 Classic Chrome Extra-Wide Slot Toaster: nice looking toaster, but we've already got one.

Oh, the pizza one is kinda cool! I think I'll add that to my wishlist for sometime later!
And that regular price on the wok is marked down a whole lot right now anyhow - someday, maybe I'll get one of those and play with it!
I got all tools today. And a garage sensor that tells you if you are far enough away from the door when pulling in so the door won't hit your car. LOL!

Love to cook Chinese/Japanese. Have cooked in a wok, dont' won one at the moment. They work best over a gas stove flame. Haven't used an electic one yet. Will have to try it considering how much I love my Foreman Grill and Steamer...
Love my kitchen timer... need about three of them. Use'em mostly, though, for kids. They play much better on the PS if the can use the timer to take 10-15 minute turns. It also works best when sharing the computers and/or for time outs. Sorry, guys It's a teacher thing I guess.
It is helpful though for Husband and Daughter when cooking. The are ADHD and having a timer to stick right next to them and say "When it rings take it out of the oven" is a life saver. Especially, because daughter is almost 12 and getting into cooking now. It won't last of course ha ha ha, but while she's interested it helps to have her cook (when mom checking in on her) while I do other things that need to get done.

I could use a good kitchen timer, as well...

I view mine late at night (midnight or so) and I keep getting kids toys. They few times I've viewed it around 6pm, I got kitchen stuff. That's the only logic I can put to it. That, or Amazon is giving you my gold box, because yours ALWAYS has stuff I would want!
