Thoughts of Steven Out of the Blue

For no reason today, I flashed back to when Steven and I first started dating. At the time, I was the secretary at the small actuarial firm where he was assistant vice president (he's a VP now). We started dating about six weeks after we met, but we kept it secret from every there except his best friend, another VP. I remembered today how we would end up in the library or the copy room and he would be giving me something to work on - a loan package, a letter to type, whatever. We kept it very professional in the office and I would look into his eyes and think, "Did I dream us up? Are we really together?" It was so strange being so close to someone, but yet having to keep that distance at the office. I don't know what really made me think of it today.

It was me, right? You know - because you have those feelings about me. It's ok, I understand... *wink*
