Makes You Feel Kind of Inadequate, Doesn't It?
While I am happy with my life and feel like I'm a good person and add some value to the world, take a look at what others had accomplished by the time they were my age.
At age 27:
Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. dropped out from his job at General Electric to become a full-time writer.
Henry David Thoreau went off for two years to live alone in a cabin at Walden Pond.
Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first person in space.
Memphis millionaire Frederic W. Smith, whose father built the Greyhound bus system, founded Federal Express.
Scottish botanist David Douglas discovered the Douglas fir.
Ernest Hemingway published his first novel, The Sun Also Rises.
Boston dentist William Morton pioneered modern anaesthesiology after learning that inhalation of ether will cause a loss of consciousness.
Go see what things other people accomplished when they were your age.

Comparison is the enemy of the good. To be able to simply see the beauty or ugliness of what is around us requires extraordinary awareness and therefore intelligence. So many plunder their self-esteem by constant comparison and a kind of negative sub-dialog that says "I am not creative". Why not?
Isn't it also creative to write a weblog, bake bread, take out the garbage, sweep the floor, prepare lunch for the kids, chat to a friend, help someone with kindness?
People remember Ghandi or some other famous individual, but not the thousands of unknowns who worked behind the scenes and on whose heads they walked to get to wherever they are.
But yes, it's also great that someone invented the lightbulb :-)
