Monday Mission 2.11

Here's PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.11:

1. As a child, did you ever wish you had a different name, maybe a name you wish your parents had chosen? To what would change it if you could?
Actually, my name is legally Kimberly, but there were four other Kimberlys in my class. I'm an original, damn it!, so when I was about twelve I experimented with different spellings (Kimberlie, Kymberly, and others) until I settled on Kymberlie. It's different and unique, and even though people never get it right, I like it and think it suits me well.

2. What skill have you been wanting to learn but have just kept putting off?
I took a couple of Javascript and DHTML classes last year when I was laid off, but I really need to learn more computer-wise like CSS and PHP.

3. Are there there any regional foods you love but just can't get where you are living now? (burger chain, ice cream shop, etc. that was in your hometown but has no locations where you are today)
When I went to the UK with my aunt and uncle when I was fifteen they had these great chocolate bars that I loved (something with an s or a c, can't remember now). I'm not from the UK, but that's as close as I can get on this question since I've lived in Houston all my life.

4. What recreational activity would you take up if you had the time and/or money?
Hmmm. Does traveling count? If I had more money, maybe playing higher limit poker.

5. What's the biggest lie you've ever told? Has anybody ever found out?
The only thing that I can think of is when my ex-fiance and I broke up when I was twenty and I was so depressed that I couldn't even get out of bed. I would tell my parents that I'd gone to school even though I basically missed the entire semester (we broke up like two weeks into the term). I think my mom knew, especially when my grades came in and they were all drops.

What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon when you were growing up? I used to love Penelope Pitstop and the Wacky Racers. There was another cartoon that came on that had something to do with monsters, but I can't remember what it was.

Let's say one of your relatives slipped you a $100 bill, to help you out for the month. Your significant other didn't see it, would you tell them or keep it to yourself? Tell him since Steven and I don't really share money. He'd be happy for me and not expect me to share.

BONUS: Whatever happened to Saturday night?
Finding a sweetheart and holding her tight?
