Tonight the online focus group that I participated in was about hosting and domain registration. One of the questions was, "After you did a search for the domain you wanted, what would you expect to see on the results page?" I answered that I would expect to see if the domain was available and possible variations in case it was taken. I suddenly thought back to when I registered kymberlie.com. I did the search, was told the domain was available, and presented with a list of other possible domains. Some of them were pretty standard - ekymberlie.com, ikymberlie.com - but then I get to ezkymberlie.com. I started cracking up. EZKymberlie.com. Yes, that's what I want for my web presence! I shared the story with some of the people that I worked with at the former.com company and from that day forward, I was EZKym.
