My Gay Straight Boyfriend
My boyfriend Steven is one of those men that you could describe as a gay straight man. He's very particular about decor, he has more fashion sense than me (not that that's probably saying much, though), and he loves to cook. Last night I'm talking to Christine on the phone when I here this funny clicking noise, like someone is stirring something really fast. It goes on for a couple of minutes, so I call into the other room, "Honey? What's that noise?" I hear back, "I'm making something from the Food Channel." My curiosity piqued (other Food Channel tests have lead to him making the best made-from scratch pizzas, calzones, and piña coladas), I walk into the kitchen to find Steven making mayonnaise. He accidentally put too much salt in, but it totally cracked me up that he was making mayonnaise by hand! On a side note, he also brought me flowers last night because he said it looked like I'd had a rough day. He is just too cute some times.
